Job Description

Apple is looking for a Reliability Engineer for the Wireless Design group. The engineer will be responsible for driving reliability requirements across multiple Wireless vendors, reviewing reliability test plans, and auditing reliability tests at vendor labs. This role involves leading failure analysis, understanding root causes of failures, and analyzing field exposure risks. A Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of relevant experience are required, with a PhD being highly desirable. Experience in defining, executing, and assessing reliability performance, auditing vendor sites for REL tests, driving vendors for DOE/FA, and performing risk assessments are key. Solid understanding of industry test standards (JEDEC, IEEE), experience in fast-paced engineering environments with crisis management skills, strong analytical and communication skills, consumer electronics experience, and self-motivation are essential.

As a Reliability Engineer for the Wireless Design group, you will be responsible to drive all reliability requirements across multiple Wireless vendors.   • Experience working in a fast paced engineering environment utilizing real time crisis management skills
  • Strong analytical and communication skills are required
  • Experience in Consumer Electronics
  • Individual needs to be self-motivated, detail oriented and possess ability to clearly articulate issues.
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $181,100 and $318,400, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
