For over two decades the World-Check Risk Intelligence database has been delivering accurate and reliable information to help our clients make informed decisions. It has hundreds of specialist researchers and analysts across the globe, adhering to the most stringent research guidelines as they collate information from reliable and reputable sources - such as watch lists, government records, and media searches.

The Research Analyst in LSEG conducts detailed and comprehensive searches and creates in-depth analysis on assigned research projects. The analyst researches and extracts data from all applicable sources, ensures accuracy and quality of findings by complying with policies and applicable laws and effectively manage workload within defined deadlines and budgets.

Day to day responsibilities include:

  • Research and extract data from all applicable sources, ensures accuracy and quality of findings by aligning with policies and applicable laws.
  • Develop appropriate search queries to maximize research results.
  • Ability to monitor diverse sources for relevant developments.
  • Provides regular status updates on research projects to the manager and Project Lead.
  • Effectively manage workload within defined deadlines.
  • Collaborations with teams across offices in multiple time zones, in a multicultural and multilingual environment.

  • Must possess keen attention to details and must have a structured and methodical approach to work.
  • Must have the ability to follow many guidelines and instructions successfully.
  • Must be goal oriented and proactive in finding topics, sources, trends, etc.
  • Must be participative, willing to collaborate with the team.
  • Must have ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Basic Qualifications

  • First level university degree. Preferably in international relations, political science, history, foreign languages and translation, literature, journalism or humanities fields.
  • Proficiency in Spanish and English languages, both spoken and written.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work as a team but also manage to be accountable for a coverage.

Desired Qualifications
