Join PwC Dublin's dynamic Financial Services Risk and Regulatory team. This role offers the chance to work on diverse client engagements, building a strong professional portfolio. You'll be part of an Irish-based, internationally connected team crafting solutions to complex regulatory issues. The team empowers financial services organizations to navigate risk and regulatory challenges, enhancing trust and transparency across sectors like Insurance, Banking, Payments, and Asset Management. As a Senior Manager, you will lead problem-solving, supporting client strategic initiatives from conception to completion, and leading delivery teams.
Good To Have:
  • Experience in the financial services industries in Ireland and the EU; cross-sector experience is advantageous.
  • Strong grasp of key Risk & Regulatory issues in Ireland and the EU.
  • Expertise in interpreting and implementing regulatory requirements, both new and existing.
  • An understanding of operational processes and system controls within regulated entities.
  • An open and curious mindset with the ability to craft constructive recommendations and develop innovative solutions.
  • Good oral and written communication skills and good ability to write formal reports for Board-level consumption.
  • Thrive in a multidisciplinary team setting.
  • Able to lead multidisciplinary teams when called to do so.
  • Good time management and organisational abilities.
  • A quick learner who can adapt swiftly and develop on the job knowledge.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and able to think on your feet.
Must Have:
  • Lead and inspire trust through transparent communication with teams and stakeholders.
  • Anticipate and address stakeholder needs proactively.
  • Tackle ambiguous and unstructured business challenges with confidence.

  • Uphold the firm’s code of ethics and business conduct.
  • Degree or equivalent qualification with relevant professional credentials (e.g., Professional Diploma in Compliance, PRMIA, ACOI).
  • More than eight years in a consultancy or financial services setting, specializing in governance, risk, compliance or regulatory roles.
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory frameworks like Solvency II, the Corporate Governance Code, MiFiD.
  • Practical experience in a compliance/risk role within an authorized firm.

Your Role:
