Following Buenos Aires and Miami Beach, Faena New York, will find its home at 500 West 18th Street, overlooking the High Line in a building designed by Bjarke Ingels Group. This latest opening will be synonymous with sophistication, glamour, breathtaking artwork, and cultural trendsetting. This opening will mark the resurgence of luxury nightlife experiences in New York with dynamic food and beverage venues and programming that will make Faena the ultimate destination for the sophisticated traveler to New York.
The Room Service Server is responsible for delivering an exceptional in-room dining experience by providing polished, discreet, and personalized service. This role requires attention to detail, elegance in presentation, and a genuine passion for creating memorable moments for our guests, in alignment with Faena’s high standards of hospitality.
This full-time position has an hourly rate of $28.00 per hour.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Deliver orders of food, beverage, and amenity orders to guest rooms promptly and courteously.
Present trays, trolleys, and tables in accordance with Faena’s in-room dining presentation standards.
Anticipate guest needs, personalize interactions, and offer suggestions where appropriate to enhance the guest experience.
Accurately handle guest transactions, including room charges and other forms of payment, following proper cash handling procedures.
Retrieve trays, carts, and tables from guest rooms and hallways in a timely manner to maintain hotel appearance and guest privacy.
Communicate special guest requests, dietary requirements, and service concerns to the Room Service Manager promptly.
Ensure the cleanliness, organization, and restocking of the Room Service pantry and staging areas.
Collaborate closely with culinary, stewarding, and mini- bar, butler service teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
Maintain an impeccable appearance and uphold Faena grooming and uniform standards at all times.
Adhere to all hotel policies, safety, sanitation, and security procedures.
Previous experience in luxury hospitality, fine dining, or in-room dining service preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a polished, professional demeanor.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Ability to lift and carry trays or carts and stand or walk for extended periods.
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Passion for providing outstanding guest service with authenticity and elegance..
SKILLS
