We are looking for an exceptional Sales Development Representative (SDR) Manager to lead a team dedicated to generating highly qualified meetings for the sales department. This role involves continuous training and ensuring the growth and success of SDRs, collaborating closely with sales and marketing to maximize pipeline creation. The ideal candidate will be a strong coach and leader, highly organized, and committed to continuously improving the SDR program. This is a significant opportunity to contribute to a rapidly expanding company, with your efforts directly impacting its growth. As a startup, we are seeking a dynamic and agile individual to help establish this business segment effectively. Initially, you will be responsible for building the sales team and closing deals with prospective clients for the first three months.
Must have:
  • Train and manage SDR team on prospecting, qualifying leads, and exceeding goals
  • Recruit top talent for the SDR team
  • Prioritize 1:1s and coaching for team development
  • Track and follow up on inbound leads adhering to speed-to-lead SLAs
  • Partner with sales and marketing for demand generation in key accounts
  • Balance lead flow and drive target account outreach
  • Identify methods to optimize Salesforce, Five9, Dialpad, and other selling tools
  • Be metrics-driven and optimize SDR processes, messaging, and campaigns
  • Develop career progression paths for SDRs
  • Partner with HR on SDR compensation plans
  • Optimize pipeline and revenue creation with marketing and sales leadership

We are seeking an all-star Sales Development Rep (SDR) Manager to lead a team of SDRs who deliver highly qualified meetings to the sales team. The Manager, SDR will be responsible for continuous training and ensuring the growth and success of the SDRs. This role collaborates closely with sales and marketing groups to maximize pipeline creation. The candidate must be a strong coach & leader, extremely well organized and continuously improve the SDR program as a whole. This is a great opportunity to support a fast-growing company where your output has a direct impact on the company’s growth

As we are a startup, we are currently seeking a dynamic and agile individual who will assist us in kicking off this side of the business the right way. You will be responsible for building out our sales team - as well as closing deals with prospective customers - for the first 3 months.

The Role

  • Train and manage the SDR team on how to prospect, qualify leads, and exceed goals
  • Recruit the top talent in the world to join your team
  • Prioritize 1:1's and coaching to develop your teams’ talent to grow into new opportunities at Lacework
  • Track follow up on daily MQLs, contact us form submissions, live chat inquiries and other inbound sales-ready leads in adherence with “speed to lead” SLA
  • Partner with regional sales directors and field marketing to execute cross-functional demand generation in key accounts for our field sales team
  • Help balance the lead flow among the SDR team and drive target account outreach
  • Identify methods to optimize Salesforce, Five9, Dialpad, and other selling tools to improve SDR productivity
  • Be metrics driven. Continually optimize SDR processes as well as messaging, cadences, and campaigns for optimal results
  • Develop career progression and development path for SDRs, working closely with cross-functional leadership team
  • Partner with HR to develop SDR comp plans that are aligned to industry best practices and are fair and equitable to all parties
  • Work with marketing and sales leadership to optimize pipeline and revenue creation
