The Sales Lead will spearhead a regional team of Cloud Sales Managers, driving Broadcom’s datacenter business growth with top-tier cloud customers. This role emphasizes strategic account development, team leadership, and the execution of go-to-market initiatives aligned with Broadcom’s objectives in the rapidly evolving cloud infrastructure market. Key responsibilities include leading and mentoring a sales team, defining sales strategy, managing pipeline, engaging with customers and partners, and ensuring cross-functional alignment. The role requires strong sales experience in cloud/datacenter technologies and leadership abilities.
Must have:
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of Cloud Sales Managers.
  • Establish sales objectives and KPIs, conduct regular performance reviews.
  • Cultivate a results-oriented culture that values collaboration, diversity, and integrity.
  • Define and implement the sales strategy for North America’s cloud datacenter accounts.
  • Oversee territory planning, pipeline development, and deal execution to meet or exceed revenue targets.
  • Participate in high-stakes customer negotiations to ensure optimal commercial outcomes.
  • Build and nurture executive-level relationships with leading cloud service providers.
  • Steer account teams to identify and win design-in opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with OEM/ODM partners to strengthen Broadcom’s go-to-market ecosystem.
  • Partner with Business Units, Technical Sales, Marketing, and Operations to deliver comprehensive solutions.
  • Act as the voice of the customer internally, influencing product strategy and support initiatives.
  • Lead sales forecasting, business reviews, and CRM processes within your region.
  • Ensure accurate opportunity tracking and timely, data-driven reporting to senior leadership.
  • 12+ years’ sales experience in cloud, datacenter, or networking hardware/software sectors.
  • Demonstrated success managing high-performing teams and achieving multi-million-dollar sales targets.
  • Deep knowledge of cloud datacenter technologies, including Ethernet switches, NICs, storage, ASICs, and optical solutions.
  • Prior experience engaging with hyperscalers or operating within OEM/ODM business models.
  • Outstanding communication, organizational, and leadership abilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field required.

Required Qualifications

  • 12+ years’ sales experience in the cloud, datacenter, or networking hardware/software sectors.

  • Deep knowledge of cloud datacenter technologies, including Ethernet switches, NICs, storage, ASICs, and optical solutions.
  • Prior experience engaging with hyperscalers or operating within OEM/ODM business models.
  • Outstanding communication, organizational, and leadership abilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field required; MS/MBA preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

-------------------------

The On Target Earnings (OTE) range for this position is $193,800 - $310,000

OTE includes Sales Incentive Commission in accordance with relevant plan documents. This position is also eligible for equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
