Motorola Solutions is seeking a Sales Operations Analyst to support the Manager of Sales Operations and VP of Sales in sales forecasting, long-range planning, and current view preparation. The role involves managing the forecasting calendar, preparing forecast review files, handling data uploads and permissions in Zoho/Tableau, assisting sales teams with forecast calls, and ensuring timely and accurate forecast completion. Responsibilities include quality control of submitted deals, implementing forecasting methodologies, preparing slide decks and commentary for stakeholder reviews, and generating ad hoc reports. The company is scaling and modernizing its tech stack for a recently acquired SaaS business serving various industries.
Must have:
  • University degree in Economy, Business Admin, Finance, or Accounting
  • 3+ years of demonstrable experience

This SaaS business improves the safety and security of the companies and communities it serves with customers in healthcare, higher education, financial services, telecommunications, utilities & energy, and more.


Job Description

This role is for an individual to primarily support the Manager of Sales Operations and VP of Sales with Sales Forecasting, Long Range Planning (LRP) and Current View (CV) preparation. Notably the role includes:

  • Preparing the Forecasting calendar for the forthcoming year, identifying key dates, meetings and activities for sales teams and leaders

  • Preparing all excel files for the forecast reviews, including management and version control of the master CV file

  • Sending out forecast file updates as needed to key stakeholders

  • Managing the Zoho/Tableau upload and permissions

  • Assisting the sales teams and leaders in the preparation and completion of sales forecast calls

  • Working with Manager of Sales Operations to ensure forecasts are completed in a timely and accurate manner

  • Working with the Manager of Sales Operations to provide additional forecasting views on submitted deals by sales teams and leaders (quality control)

  • Help the Manager of Sales Operations implement and operationalize a forecasting methodology for the business

  • Preparing Slide Decks for the reviews with stakeholders 

  • Preparing the Top Orders, R&O and Commentary for each forecast

  • Preparing ad hoc reports

Qualifications:

  • University degree preferably in the following areas: Economy, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting

  • 3+ years of demonstrable experience 

  • 2 years of SaaS experience 

  • Team player 

  • Ability to work under pressure to strict deadlines

  • Attention to detail

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills 

  • Exceptional Excel & Google Sheets Skills

  • Experience w/ Zoho Analytics and Tableau

  • Excellent written and spoken English

Travel Requirements:

  • Under 10%

Target Base Salary Range: $85,000 - $105,000 USD
