SAP ABAP Senior Technical Lead

Sopra Steria, a major European Tech player, is seeking an SAP ABAP Senior Technical Lead with 8-11 years of experience. The role involves expertise in DDIC, reports, interfaces, enhancements, BADIs, BAPIs, and forms, along with excellent debugging skills. Candidates should have experience with ALE/IDOC, RFC, Proxies, OData, and an understanding of business processes in MM, PP, QM modules. The position requires strong problem-solving abilities and experience in customer-facing roles, contributing to on-time project delivery and customer satisfaction.

Must Have

• 8+ years of experience in SAP ABAP
• Expertise in DDIC, reports, interfaces, enhancements, BADIs, BAPIs, forms
• Excellent debugging skills and ability to analyze code
• Experience with ALE/IDOC, RFC, Proxies, OData interfaces
• Understanding of business process, functional and technical knowledge in MM, PP, QM modules
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Experience in Customer facing roles

Good to Have

• Exposure to S4HANA and ABAP on HANA
• Experience/knowledge in UI5
• Experience in Agile Scrum/Safe methodologies

Job Description

Position: SAP ABAP Senior Technical Lead

Experience: 8-11 Years

1) 8+ years of experience in SAP ABAP

2) Expertise in DDIC, reports, interfaces, enhancements, BADIs, BAPIs, forms.

3) Excellent debugging skills. Ability to analyze code and suggest improvements.

4) Interfaces: ALE/IDOC, RFC, Proxies, OData

5) Good to have exposure to S4HANA and ABAP on HANA

6) Understanding of business process, functional and technical knowledge preferably in MM, PP, QM modules

7) Experience/knowledge in UI5 would be an added advantage

8) Strong problem solving and analytical skills

9) Experience in Agile Scrum/Safe methodologies is preferred

10) Experience in Customer facing roles
