SAP QA Test Lead

Kforce is seeking a SAP QA Test Lead in NYC to drive quality assurance across FS-CD, FS-RI, SAP Business Partner (BP), Workflow, and FI-GL modules. This role involves overseeing a blended onshore/offshore team, advancing test automation strategies, and improving speed, coverage, and reliability. The ideal candidate will possess deep SAP module expertise and Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance domain knowledge, translating business requirements into risk-based QA approaches. Key responsibilities include expanding automation frameworks, establishing measurable QA standards, and collaborating with stakeholders to align testing with end-to-end processes and integrations.

Must Have

• Proactively ensure excellent product quality through rigorous testing practices
• Establish quality standards and best practices to minimize defects
• Act as an advocate for quality within the organization
• Conduct regular meetings with stakeholders to review testing strategies, timelines, and outcomes
• 10+ years of SAP QA Manager or Lead experience in FSCD, FS-RI, SAP BP, Workflow, and FiGL modules
• 2+ years of Business Analysis (BA) and/or Quality Analyst (QA) experience in the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance sector
• Proficiency with SAP TOSCA Automation Tool and SAP Solution Manager (SolMan)
• Ability to create new test cases, analyze failures, and independently maintain/fix test scripts
• Experience in BA and/or QA application maintenance, enhancement, and Production Support in IT systems
• Knowledge of SAP BAPI/RFC and integration experience with upstream applications (e.g., Guidewire)
• Proficient in developing and reviewing test plans, scenarios, cases, scripts, and in bug/defect analysis
• Experience with SAP ChaRM for release management and coordination with SAP BASIS teams
• Solid foundation in SAP and thorough understanding of software testing life cycles
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Experience leading teams in an onsite-offshore working environment model

Summary: The position oversees a blended onshore/offshore team and advances test automation strategies to improve speed, coverage, and reliability. Ideal candidates bring deep SAP module expertise and Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance domain knowledge, translating business requirements into risk-based QA approaches. Key priorities include expanding automation frameworks, establishing measurable QA standards, and collaborating with stakeholders to align testing with end-to-end processes and integrations (including Guidewire and other upstream systems). Although this is a lead role, hands-on involvement is expected to meet delivery commitments within a small-team environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and above from an accredited college or university
• 10+ years of SAP QA Manager or Lead experience in FSCD, FS-RI, SAP BP, Workflow, and FiGL modules
• 2+ years of Business Analysis (BA)and/or Quality Analyst (QA) experience in the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance sector
• Proficiency with SAP TOSCA Automation Tool and SAP Solution Manager (SolMan)
• Ability to create new test cases, analyze failures, and independently maintain/fix test scripts
• Strong collaboration skills to work across various SAP teams and comprehend automation requirements
• Experience in BA and/or QA application maintenance, enhancement, and Production Support in IT systems

• Proficient in developing and reviewing test plans, scenarios, cases, scripts, and in bug/defect analysis

• A solid foundation in SAP and a thorough understanding of software testing life cycles
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
