Marvell is seeking an Optical Module Supplier Quality Engineering Intern to join their global Supplier Quality team. This role involves supporting qualification and audit activities for optical module suppliers, managing Product Change Notifications, performing on-site supplier assessments, and driving corrective actions. Must Have

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Optics, Materials Science, or related field
  • Experience in supplier quality or manufacturing engineering, ideally within optical modules or photonics
  • Familiarity with DFMEA, PFMEA, SPC, PPAP, and ISO standards
  • Experience with cleanroom protocols, ESD/MSD control, and component-level testing
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

We are looking for an enthusiastic Optical Module Supplier Quality Engineering Intern to join our global Supplier Quality team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in ensuring the quality, reliability, and compliance of optical modules sourced from strategic suppliers across Asia. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, has a strong interest in photonics and optical systems, and is passionate about developing supplier management skills while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

What You Can Expect

  • Support qualification and audit activities for optical module suppliers
  • Manage Product Change Notification (PCNs) and follow-up qualification plans for new or modified components.
  • Perform on-site supplier assessments and drive implementation of corrective actions.
  • Provide follow-up support for failure analysis at both module and component levels.
  • Track and close Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) events.
  • Monitor supplier process controls and yield performance to ensure consistent quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate records, including inspection logs, qualification reports, and supplier scorecards.
  • Present quality metrics and improvement initiatives to internal stakeholders.

This position is eligible for 2026 RDSS (Research and Development Substitute Services) program. Please confirm your eligibility with local district office if you are interested in applying for this role.

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Optics, Materials Science, or related field
