The Security Software Engineer II reports to the Director, Security Software Engineering in the SPEAR Automation team. Part of the Secure Product Engineering & Anti-Cheat Response (SPEAR) department at EA, the SPEAR Automation team builds tools that directly protect fair play across our games.
In this role, you’ll focus on EA’s internal gameplay integrity platform. The platform is used daily by gameplay analysts to review data, detect suspicious behaviour, and take decisive action that keeps Battlefield and other EA titles fair for players. You’ll design and implement new features, improve usability, and help modernise its technology stack.
This is a hands-on development role: you’ll spend most of your time writing code, solving problems, and working closely with analysts and security partners to build a product they can rely on. Your work will have a visible and meaningful impact on protecting fair play for millions of players worldwide.
