- Develop and implement systems in-engine in a multiplayer environment, using C++ and Blueprints.
- Communicate and collaborate across departments as it pertains to 3Cs systems: work closely with gameplay design and engineers, as well as production in managing the prioritization, implementation, and scope of the game’s systems as they pertain to camera, controls, and character.
- Follow the code quality standards set by the team.
- Collaborate across disciplines in achieving the overall vision of the game.
- Solicit and incorporate feedback from team members regarding existing systems.
- Experience in creating compelling and innovative 3Cs systems in professional 3rd person, multiplayer games, including but not limited to AAA projects.
- Thorough understanding of core 3C concepts such as camera behaviors, state machines, character movement systems, animations, and controls accessibility, including support for a range of input devices and player needs (e.g., remapping, sensitivity, motor/cognitive accommodations), and how to implement them in a multiplayer game to achieve the highest fidelity for all clients.
- The ability to communicate fluently with engineering, art, narrative, and production teams.
- Curiosity, kindness, and a positive and professional can-do attitude.
