This role involves performing accounting for various investments, real estate, significant asset holdings, trusts, and other related businesses for an assigned group of clients. Must Have

Summary: Our client has been in business for 30+ years and provides accounting to a variety of clients with business ventures around the country.

Responsibilities:

• The Senior Accountant will perform accounting for investments, real estate, significant asset holdings (multiple classes), trusts and other related businesses for an assigned group of clients
• Assist with preparing monthly financial statements/reports
• Assist with external audits
• Assist with financial summaries requested by clients
• As a Senior Accountant, you will prepare monthly reconciliations
• Support tax group w/tax filing deadlines (no prep, just provide workpapers)
• Various financial projects for clients

Requirements

• BS in Accounting
• Public accounting background/CPA desirable
• Minimum 4+ years of general accounting
• Strong Excel and systems aptitude
• Strong work ethic
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
