As the Director, Americas Channel Sales, you will lead the strategy and execution of channel sales initiatives across the Americas. You will manage a high-performing team, build and strengthen executive relationships with key channel partners, and drive revenue growth for Gigamon’s products, support, and services. This role collaborates closely with regional sales, marketing, and technical teams to ensure alignment with Gigamon’s channel strategy and to maximize market coverage. Your leadership will be instrumental in expanding Gigamon’s presence, identifying new opportunities, and elevating the brand’s strategic value in the channel ecosystem.
What you’ll do:
- Drive alignment between regional sales leadership, sales engineering, and marketing teams to ensure awareness and execution of Gigamon’s channel strategy.
- Build and maintain executive-level relationships (VP and C-suite) with channel partners across the Americas.
- Oversee and manage the Americas channel team and national reseller account team, setting objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities (“white space”) and build a robust pipeline across all focus markets and segments.
- Collaborate with channel marketing to design and execute regional channel programs and campaigns that increase Gigamon’s market presence.
- Provide input to corporate education teams on channel partner enablement and certification programs.
- Oversee Salesforce (SFDC) processes for partner management and deal registration across the region.
- Foster relationships with technology vendors and alliance partners to identify and pursue mutual growth opportunities.
- Stay current on competitive products, technologies, and industry trends to inform strategy and execution.
- Prepare and deliver presentations, territory plans, and business reports as needed.
What you’ve done:
- 10+ years of experience leading high-performing teams and managing channel programs in the technology sector.
- Demonstrated success in building and leveraging a robust network of key channel relationships.
- Proven track record of driving channel revenue growth and executing go-to-market strategies.
- Experience with networking, data center, and security technologies is highly desirable.
- Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to represent Gigamon as the primary channel leader in the Americas.
- Proficient in using Salesforce or similar CRM platforms for partner and deal management.
- Ability to travel up to 50% in region

The base salary + commission compensation range targeted for this role is expected to be between $295,800 - $370,000 (subject to terms and conditions of the plan). This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the Company’s compensation practices.
Employees in this position are eligible to participate in the Company’s standard employee benefit programs, which may include health and other insurances such as life and disability, and savings accounts such as a retirement plan with company matching contributions or similar, paid time off (holidays, vacation, and sick), tuition reimbursement, employee assistance program (EAP), business travel accident insurance, employee discounts, and employee referral program. Additionally, employees may be eligible to participate in the Profit Interest Units plan.
