Job Description

The Senior Accountant will manage accounting operations, including financial statement preparation, journal entries, and account reconciliations. This role supports month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring compliance with US GAAP, IFRS, and local tax regulations. Responsibilities also include reconciling sub-ledger to general ledger accounts and maintaining fixed assets schedules, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail. Must have:
  • Manage accounting operations, including preparing financial statements, journal entries, and account reconciliations
  • Support the month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Ensure compliance with US GAAP, IFRS, and local tax regulations (VAT, WHT, Income Tax)
  • Reconcile sub-ledger to general ledger account balances and maintain fixed assets schedules
  • Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all financial activities

Job Details

We will count on you to:

  • Manage accounting operations, including preparing financial statements, journal entries, and account reconciliations
  • Support the month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Ensure compliance with US GAAP, IFRS, and local tax regulations (VAT, WHT, Income Tax)
  • Reconcile sub-ledger to general ledger account balances and maintain fixed assets schedules
  • Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all financial activities

What you need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in accounting
  • Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures and experience with general ledger functions
  • In-depth understanding of IFRS, US GAAP, and local tax regulations
  • Experience with Mydata and reconciling sub-ledger to general ledger accounts
