Senior Accountant

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to preparing and executing payments. Performing salary calculations. Following timeline of month-end and year-end closing processes. Statutory reporting preparation.

Duties:

• Performing salary calculations (including vacation, sick leaves) and payments to staff of Diia City resident.
• Preparing journal entries and posting: bank statements (including in foreign currencies), accounts receivables, accounts payables, fixed assets, stock, business trips).
• Ensure that all posted transactions are supported by appropriate documentation and comply with local requirements. Reconciliations with vendors.
• Prepare draft of statutory reports (VAT, salary reports, unified tax report, balance sheet and P&L).
• Following timeline of month-end and year-end closing processes to have timely and accurately prepared trial balance.
• Prepare info based on the auditor's request and check it for accuracy and completeness before submission to the auditors.
• Initiatives to improve efficiencies of processes, able to coach less experienced staff, back-up of Chief Accountant.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor degree, field of study - Accounting
• Experience: 8+ years’ of experience in accounting
• Skills and Abilities: detail-oriented, responsible, reliable person
• Intermediate level of English (would be a plus)
• Specialized Knowledge: BAS,  M.E.Doc Internet-banking, Excel
