Senior Accountant

Playnetic is seeking a Senior Accountant to be a key part of its financial team. This role involves maintaining and reviewing accounting records, overseeing accounts payable and receivable, managing payroll, performing bank reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with financial policies. The Senior Accountant will contribute to the company's stability and growth by providing reliable financial insights and supporting day-to-day operations, reporting directly to the Head of Finance.

Must Have

• Maintaining and reviewing accounting records, including journal entries and adjustments
• Overseeing accounts payable and receivable workflows
• Ensuring smooth and accurate month-end and year-end close
• Managing payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Performing bank reconciliations and resolving discrepancies promptly
• Ensuring all financial transactions are documented in line with company policies
• Organising and maintaining financial documents and supporting records
• Managing administrative finance duties such as invoicing, payroll support, and expense reporting
• Supporting the Finance Manager with ongoing financial and operational tasks
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, ACA)
• Solid understanding of IFRS and GAAP
• Proficiency in accounting software
• Strong Excel skills
• Excellent organisational, analytical, and time-management abilities
• Clear communication and strong interpersonal skills

Good to Have

• Experience communicating with banks (applications, follow-ups, documentation)
• Background in the gaming or iGaming industry

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Senior Accountant who will play a key role in shaping the financial backbone of Playnetic. You’ll ensure accuracy, compliance, and operational continuity across all financial workflows—from VAT submissions to payroll preparation, payments, banking, and internal controls.

As we scale, your work will contribute directly to our stability and growth, providing reliable insights and smooth day-to-day operations that help us move fast without losing precision.

You’ll report directly to our Head of Finance, Despina, who champions autonomy, trust, and healthy work-life balance—no micromanagement, just clarity and collaboration.

What You’ll Be Doing
