This role requires managing the full accounting cycle for a company, adhering to Serbian legislation. Responsibilities include preparing financial and tax reports, monitoring cash flow, handling payroll, controlling expenses, liaising with authorities, preparing financial statements, managing internal procedures, advising management, and collaborating with auditors. The ideal candidate will have over 3 years' experience as a Senior Accountant, preferably in IT or game development, excellent knowledge of Serbian tax laws, proficiency in English, and strong accounting software skills. We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented professional to fill the position of Senior Accountant (Solo), who is ready to be responsible for all accounting processes in the company. This is a key role, our future colleague will be involved in decision-making and discussions with our finance team.
WHAT WE TRUST YOU WITH
- Managing the full cycle of the company’s accounting in accordance with Serbian legislation.
- Preparing and submitting financial and tax reports.
- Monitoring cash flow and managing accounts payable and receivable.
- Handling payroll accounting and maintaining personnel documentation.
- Accounting and controlling company expenses, including cost analysis.
- Liaising with tax and regulatory authorities, ensuring timely preparation and submission of all required reports.
- Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the company’s management.
- Managing internal financial procedures and ensuring compliance with financial reporting standards.
- Advising management on financial planning and taxation matters.
- Collaborating with auditors and external consultants.
WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU
- Over 3 years of experience as a Senior Accountant (Solo), preferably in IT companies or the game development industry.
- Excellent knowledge of Serbian tax and accounting legislation.
- Proficiency in English sufficient for business correspondence and communication with international partners is required.
- Knowledge of Russian will be an additional plus.
- Strong skills in accounting software.
- Higher education in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
- High level of responsibility and attention to detail.
- Experience working in international companies is an advantage.
