We are looking for a Senior Adobe Experience Cloud Administrator with a strong background in platform administration, operations, governance, and light development experience. This role is pivotal in managing the day-to-day configuration, governance, and optimization of Adobe Experience Cloud products, ensuring seamless integration, scalability, and reliability of marketing and content operations. This is a cross-functional role requiring hands-on expertise with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Adobe Admin Console, Adobe Target, Marketo, Customer Journey Analytics (CJA), Adobe Assets (DAM), Adobe Launch, and Adobe Workfront.
Must have:
  • Oversee user, group, role and product profile management across Adobe Admin Console.
  • Manage AEM environments, including user permissions, replication agents, backups.
  • Administer Adobe Target: user management, workspace setup, activity organization.
  • Manage and configure Marketo: roles, workspaces, partition setup, lead lifecycle.
  • Maintain Adobe CJA: dataset schema governance, connection management, troubleshooting.
  • Oversee Adobe Assets (DAM): asset workflows, metadata schema, permissions.
  • Administer Adobe Launch: property setup, rule/extension management, publishing flows.
  • Configure and manage Adobe Workfront: user roles, project templates, reporting.
  • Set up proactive alerts & monitoring across the ecosystem using tools like New Relic, Splunk.
  • Lead L1/L2 support for debugging issues across Adobe Experience Cloud products.
  • Define and enforce governance models across all Adobe Experience Cloud products.
  • Ensure platform security, data privacy compliance (GDPR, CCPA), and access management.
  • Monitor license usage, audit logs, performance metrics, and system health.
  • Act as point of contact for incident resolution, system outages, platform upgrades.
  • Collaborate with marketing, analytics, UI/UX, PMO, development, and data teams.
  • Support change management processes including release coordination, UAT, documentation.
  • Identify process automation and workflow optimization opportunities.
  • Support component-level AEM enhancements (templates, workflows, permissions).
  • Assist in basic rule creation in Launch, campaign setup in Target, form customization.
  • Collaborate with developers and architects for troubleshooting and customization.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 8+ years experience managing enterprise marketing or content platforms.
  • At least 5 years direct experience in Adobe Experience Cloud administration.
  • Proven experience administering AEM (Sites, Assets), including deployment.
  • Solid experience with Adobe Admin Console, Target, Marketo, CJA, Launch, Workfront.
  • Understanding of Adobe Identity Management, sandbox environments, cross-cloud governance.
  • Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) 6.5 or above.
  • Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, JSON, and modern front-end frameworks.
  • Experience with Adobe I/O Runtime, Events, APIs, and Adobe Launch.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing KPIs, testing methodologies, agile workflows.
  • Understanding of AEM workflows, Sling mapping, multi-site management.
  • Ability to integrate with HTML/JS/CSS built by front-end developers.
  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (MVC frameworks).
  • Experience with front-end technologies such as CSS, JavaScript, HTML, iOS, Android.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a portfolio showcasing projects.
  • Experience working in agile teams using Jira, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
Good to have:
  • Basic web front-end development experience, including CSS/JavaScript/HTML is a plus.
  • Knowledge of REST APIs, webhook configurations, and integration monitoring tools.
  • Basic knowledge of audience segmentation, customer journeys, personalization strategies, test optimization, and real-time targeting.
  • Basic knowledge of Analytics – reporting, custom metrics, analysis workspace, and integrations.
  • Adobe certifications in Target, AEM, Analytics, CJA or Marketo would be a plus.

Responsibilities:

Platform Administration & Configuration

  • Oversee user, group, role and product profile management across the Adobe Admin Console.
  • Manage AEM environments (author, publish, dispatcher), including user permissions, replication agents, package management, backups, and maintenance tasks.
  • Administer Adobe Target: user management, workspace setup, activity organization, tagging schema, and audit trails.
  • Manage and configure Marketo: roles, workspaces, partition setup, lead lifecycle governance, and system integrations.
  • Maintain Adobe CJA: dataset schema governance, connection management, permission controls, and troubleshooting.
  • Oversee Adobe Assets (DAM): asset workflows, metadata schema, permissions, folder structures, and lifecycle policies.
  • Administer Adobe Launch: property setup, rule/extension management, environments, and publishing flows.
  • Configure and manage Adobe Workfront: user roles, group structures, request queues, project templates, reporting dashboards, and governance.
  • Setting up proactive alerts & monitoring across the ecosystem using the in-house & Adobe provided tools like New Relic, Splunk etc.
  • Lead the L1/L2 support tasks for debugging issues across Adobe Experience Cloud products and engage relevant stakeholders as needed

Governance & Compliance

  • Define and enforce governance models across all Adobe Experience Cloud products including tagging standards, naming conventions, and data hygiene practices, audit & reporting requirements, etc.
  • Ensure platform security, data privacy compliance (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), and access management best practices.
  • Monitor license usage, audit logs, performance metrics, and system health.

Operational Excellence

  • Act as the point of contact for incident resolution, system outages, platform upgrades, and vendor escalations.
  • Collaborate with marketing, analytics, UI/UX, PMO, development, and data teams to enable campaigns, experiences, and reporting within defined SLAs.
  • Support change management processes including release coordination, UAT, and documentation.
  • Identify process automation and workflow optimization opportunities across platforms.

Development Support (Light)

  • Support component-level AEM enhancements (templates, workflows, permissions).
  • Assist in basic rule creation in Launch, campaign setup in Target, or form customization in Marketo as needed.
  • Collaborate with developers and architects for troubleshooting and platform customization.

Qualifications:
