Senior AI Engineer – Widget generation & UX automation

We are looking for an experienced Senior AI Engineer – Widget generation & UX automation to join our AI innovation journey. In this role, you will work on AI-driven projects that accelerate the development of Uniface UX and collaborate with our AI team in Vilnius to create tools and features supporting multiple products. You’ll be working at the intersection of artificial intelligence and user experience design, creating AI-powered solutions that accelerate widget development for enterprise applications. Your work will directly impact how thousands of developers build modern web applications.

Must Have

• Manages small-sized projects or processes and contributes to Agentic AI initiatives to develop intelligent solutions.
• Responsible for making moderate improvements of technical/business processes, systems or products to enhance performance within job area.
• Build AI-powered tools that convert designs into reliable UI components and enable teams to create advanced interfaces.
• Define and implement best practices for AI-driven UX development across multiple products, ensuring consistency and scalability.
• Integrate AI-generated designs and workflows into product architecture, align UX widgets with AI-driven layouts and design standards, and adapt solutions for low-code environments such as Uniface.
• Applies understanding of UI technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to support AI-driven design processes.
• Has a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in front-end development, UI/UX design, or related software engineering roles, ideally with exposure to AI-driven solutions.
• Has experience designing and building AI-powered tools or agentic workflows, from prototype to production, and delivering solutions that improve efficiency and quality.
• Has experience with AI integration in products (e.g., LLM APIs, prompt engineering, evaluation, MCP, Vector Stores, etc).
• Possesses a solid understanding of User Design, specifically User Interface design, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Understands and can contribute to the design and blueprint creation of UX widgets, including concepts required for AI-driven layouts, and collaborates effectively with development teams.
• Has experience with low-code environments or enterprise UI frameworks, and familiarity with the Uniface platform or willingness to learn quickly.

Good to Have

• Understanding or prior experience with Web Components, Fluent Design System, and web-specific UI/UX principles such as Visual Design and Wireframing.
• Experience with Agile/SCRUM methodology.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as C/C++.

You’ll be working at the intersection of artificial intelligence and user experience design, creating AI-powered solutions that accelerate widget development for enterprise applications. Your work will directly impact on how thousands of developers build modern web applications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manages small-sized projects or processes and contributes to Agentic AI initiatives to develop intelligent solutions.
• Responsible for making moderate improvements of technical/business processes, systems or products to enhance performance within job area.
• Build AI-powered tools that convert designs into reliable UI components and enable teams to create advanced interfaces.
• Define and implement best practices for AI-driven UX development across multiple products, ensuring consistency and scalability.
• Integrate AI-generated designs and workflows into product architecture, align UX widgets with AI-driven layouts and design standards, and adapt solutions for low-code environments such as Uniface.
• Applies understanding of UI technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to support AI-driven design processes.
• Provides guidance, coaching, and training to other team members within the job area, may review the work of colleagues, and influences others within the job function regarding practices, procedures, and policies.
• Communicates with contacts within the job function and may communicate with parties external to the organization (e.g., customers, vendors, etc.).
• Problems are mostly defined and complex, involving consideration of multiple issues, job areas or specialties, and may require some information gathering, analysis and investigation to understand.
• Results of work have considerable impact on project completion and/or team direction and/or financial expense.

Required Qualifications:

• Has a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in front-end development, UI/UX design, or related software engineering roles, ideally with exposure to AI-driven solutions.
• Has experience designing and building AI-powered tools or agentic workflows, from prototype to production, and delivering solutions that improve efficiency and quality.
• Has experience with AI integration in products (e.g., LLM APIs, prompt engineering, evaluation, MCP, Vector Stores, etc).
• Possesses a solid understanding of User Design, specifically User Interface design, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Demonstrates strong collaboration skills with global teams and provides guidance or mentoring when needed.

Annual salary range for this position is between €51,000.00 - €66,300.00 gross before taxes.

Salary range applies only to candidates in Lithuania

Salary offer for the candidate is determined based on the predefined salary ranges for the position and depends on the level of competence and experience of the candidate.
