Job Summary

The Senior Analyst, Content Partnerships will collect and analyze market data, identify trends, and present findings to senior management to improve content and user experience. This role involves designing workflows, tracking content KPIs using tools like Excel, Power BI, and Tableau, and managing strategic commercial relationships with content partners. The analyst will also analyze usage metrics, assess contractual rights, and collaborate with internal teams to execute cross-functional initiatives and acquisition goals.

Must Have

  • Develop and maintain operational processes and best practices.
  • Track new content availabilities, onboarding timelines, deal statuses, delivery schedules.
  • Conduct screenings of new content and collaborate with programming team for acquisition.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Marketing, Analytics, or related field.
  • 2 years of experience in occupation or as a business intelligence analyst.
  • Fluent in written and spoken Spanish.
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or advanced Excel.
  • Experience managing complex datasets across multiple geographies.
  • Experience in market research and cross-departmental collaboration.

Job Description

Design and manage efficient workflows and internal tracking systems for content hours, ensuring accurate metadata, availability windows, and timelines. Design, establish, and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) using business intelligence tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau) and design content intelligence dashboards to assess and improve content performance, and identify potential markets and factors impacting demand. Lead communication with content partners, and oversee the ongoing management of strategic commercial relationships, focusing on reporting, performance, revenues, new availabilities, and negotiation of business models. Analyze data gathered from internal and external sources to maximize efficiency and understanding of business success and customer satisfaction based thereon. Gather data on competitors and monitor industry statistics to support key business decisions; identify opportunities and develop recommendations to guide business strategy. Analyze the competitive environment and identify digital and independent content providers to better position content offerings and recommend acquisition strategies. Analyze usage metrics and user behavior behind content consumption, using that data to drive deal related decision-making and problem-solving challenges. Drive business value through analytics to determine new partnership targets and identify existing shortcomings within content libraries. Assess contractual rights, linear and nonlinear programming schedules, and financial processes integrated via internal systems. Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Legal, Finance, Operations) to execute cross-functional initiatives aligned with business goals. Lead cross-functional projects and collaborate with strategy, programming, and partner teams to execute acquisition goals aligned with business priorities. Provide operational and analytical support, blending quantitative data output to communicate efforts for performance and revenue. Review upcoming schedules to identify potential delivery and operational issues, including programming start and expiration dates for programming. Develop and maintain operational processes and best practices to ensure the team is operating efficiently and tracking against key business priorities. Track status of new content availabilities, onboarding timelines, deal statuses, delivery schedules and other partnership information to support team activities. Conduct screenings of new content and collaborate with the programming team to select titles for acquisition.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Marketing, Analytics, or related field, plus 2 years of experience in the occupation or as a business intelligence analyst.

Must be fluent in written and spoken Spanish. Must have experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or advanced Excel. Must have experience managing complex datasets across multiple geographies. Must have experience in market research and cross-departmental collaboration.
