Must have:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for Workday integrations and enhancements.
  • Develop Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Specifications, and Process Flow Diagrams.
  • Conduct gap analysis to identify areas for Workday optimization and process improvements.
  • Work closely with developers and Workday consultants to design, develop, and optimize Workday integrations.
  • Support the implementation and management of Workday API integrations (SOAP and REST).
  • Conduct data mapping, validation, and transformation to support business needs.
  • Analyze Workday security, business processes, and reporting configurations.
  • Act as a bridge between business users and technical teams.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to define and prioritize Workday enhancements in an Agile/Scrum environment.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test case preparation, execution, and validation.
  • Assist in Workday change management, ensuring smooth adoption of new features and updates.
  • Ensure Workday integrations adhere to security, privacy, and compliance regulations.
  • Conduct technical data analysis and troubleshooting for middleware and integration issues.
  • Stay updated on Workday’s evolving integration capabilities.

We are seeking a Technical Business Analyst with strong Workday expertise to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a blend of business analysis skills and technical proficiency, particularly in Workday integration technologies and cloud SaaS architecture. Business Analysis & Requirement Gathering

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for Workday integrations and enhancements.
  • Develop Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Specifications, and Process Flow Diagrams to guide technical teams.
  • Conduct gap analysis to identify areas for Workday optimization and process improvements.

Workday Integration & Technical Analysis

  • Work closely with developers and Workday consultants to design, develop, and optimize Workday integrations using Workday Studio, EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder), Workday connectors, Document Transformation, and BIRT reports.
  • Support the implementation and management of Workday API integrations (SOAP and REST), including third-party system connectivity (e.g., payroll).
  • Conduct data mapping, validation, and transformation to support business needs and ensure seamless integration.
  • Analyze Workday security, business processes, and reporting configurations, ensuring compliance with governance standards.

Stakeholder Communication & Agile Collaboration

  • Act as a bridge between business users and technical teams, ensuring that Workday solutions align with business objectives.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to define and prioritize Workday enhancements in an Agile/Scrum environment.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test case preparation, execution, and validation.
  • Assist in Workday change management, ensuring smooth adoption of new features and updates.

Data Governance & System Optimization

  • Ensure Workday integrations adhere to security, privacy, and compliance regulations.
  • Conduct technical data analysis and troubleshooting for middleware and integration issues.
  • Stay updated on Workday’s evolving integration capabilities, including Report as a Service (RaaS), Workday HCM, Talent Management, Recruiting, and Security configurations.

Mandatory skill sets:

  • 2-4 years of experience in a Technical Business Analyst or Workday Analyst role.
  • Hands-on experience with Workday integration technologies (Workday Studio, EIB, Workday Connectors, SOAP & REST APIs, and BIRT reports).
  • Strong understanding of Workday modules (HCM, Talent Management, Recruiting, Security).
  • Experience in technical data analysis, middleware troubleshooting, and system integrations.
  • Proficiency in cloud SaaS architecture, integration patterns, and business process optimization.
  • Strong ability to document requirements, create process flows, and write user stories.
  • Experience working in Agile/SAFe environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred skill sets:

  • Workday Integration Pro certifications.
  • Experience with Workday Extend for custom application development.
  • Knowledge of Azure, .NET frameworks, Java, or Python for integration development.

5+ years.

Education qualification:
