Senior backend developer (Ruby) at Storylane (S21)

Storylane is on a mission to empower marketing and sales teams to share interactive product experiences and drive Product-led growth. As a Senior Backend Developer, you will architect, develop, and deploy scalable applications, serving as the primary backend expert. Your goal will be to ensure the Storylane platform is well-designed and monitored, participating in end-to-end service ownership and on-call duties within a fast-growing, highly effective team.

Must Have

• BS/MS in Computer Science or related field/degree, with 3+ years of work experience
• Strong knowledge of Ruby Rails framework at production level
• Comfortable in Javascript and used frameworks like ReactJS or NextJS
• Self-organized, able to take ownership and communicate well in English
• Build features for the Storylane platform
• Help troubleshoot, analyze, and root cause issues in the platform
• Ability to own, maintain, and deploy services
• Fully participate in the ownership of your services and components, and on-call duties

Good to Have

• AWS experience (EC2, EBS, PostgreSQL - RDS, Route53, S3)
• Experience in Python

As backend developer, you'll work with other engineering team members to architect, develop and deploy applications at scale. You will be the primary go-to-person for all things backend with Storylane - and so your goal will be to make sure Storylane platform is well designed and monitored.
