Get to know the role
Job Summary: The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst will drive change among the Finance and Accounting business units by utilizing analytics and data insight capabilities within The Pokémon Company International. This position will be primarily responsible to partnering across various business units (eg. Licensing) with Finance and Accounting to build, develop and deliver on strategic analytic roadmaps, analysis and reports for the Finance and Accounting team. This role will function as an analytic SME to stakeholders and act as the analytical engine of the company to provide insights, support and optimization on Finance and Accounting data. This role will including working with various technologies, teams and projects to streamline data accuracy, data strategy and optimization such as ERP systems. The ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills, be self-directed, collaborative drive accountability and have a keen ability to analyze data to identify and communicate patterns and areas of improvements to the Finance and Accounting teams.

What you’ll do
- Own all parts of the analytics analysis from design, development, analyzing, interpreting, and summarizing data findings to various levels of accounting and finance team members
- Partner with various business units (eg Licensing, E-commerce) to drive accounting and finance data analytic initiatives
- Drive recommendation and optimization solutions for automating data collection and data strategy and reporting on various technology solutions (Oracle ERP)
- Become an analytic SME for high value and high impact projects to represent BI and Finance and Accounting interests
- Partner with accounting and finance leadership to deliver high data quality reporting and are maintained to partners
- Develop, own and deliver the BI roadmap for each workstream for accounting and finance
- Integrate relevant information and disparate data sources in developing analysis, insights, and recommendations
- Effectively scope, size, and plan the development of analytical solutions and set expectations accordingly
- Create dashboards and visualizations to track key finance and accounting performance indicators and effectively communicate trends
What you’ll bring
- Bachelors degree required.
- 6+ years previous experience in business intelligence, analytics, or related field.
- Strong track record of business partnership.
- Advanced reporting and analysis skills and data visualization best practices.
- Advanced knowledge of BI software, development, and tools.
- Experience with SQL and statistical software packages (Python, R, SAS)
- Experience in driving large data analytic strategies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- International experience is preferred.
- Experience with financial and accounting and royalty data a plus.
- Experience with driving analytic and data initiatives in larger scale project a plus.
- Experience with ERP systems a plus (Oracle).
Base Salary Range: For this role, new hires generally start between $127,000.00 - $151,000.00. The full range is $127,000.00 - $191,000.00. per year. This range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. The final base salary is directly related to the candidate’s qualifications and professional experience uniquely.
