Job Summary

The Senior Business Process Analyst will collaborate with stakeholders to elicit and document detailed requirements, acting as a liaison between business and technical teams. This role involves analyzing existing business processes for improvement, creating comprehensive documentation including functional specifications and API guides, and facilitating User Acceptance Testing. A strong conceptual understanding of web development, APIs, and SQL is essential, along with providing post-implementation support and managing stakeholder expectations.

Job Description

Position Summary

Key Responsibilities

Requirements Elicitation:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs, objectives, and desired outcomes from the project.
  • Conduct workshops and analyse existing documentation to elicit and document detailed requirements.

Stakeholder Communication:

  • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, and external partners.
  • Ensure effective communication, manage expectations, and provide updates on the progress of the project.

Business Process Analysis:

  • Understand existing business processes and identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Analyse workflows, data flows, and dependencies to optimize business operations.

Documentation:

  • Create comprehensive documentation, including functional specifications, API/Interface documentation and integration guides.
  • Ensure these documents serve as references for developers, testers and other stakeholders.

Web development, API and Database Integration:

  • Strong Conceptual understanding of web development concepts, API and SQL.

Use Case Analysis:

  • Identify and analyse use cases for the Application, API to understand how it will be utilized by different systems, applications, or external parties.
  • Determine functional requirements and integration points to ensure seamless interoperability.

User Acceptance Testing (UAT):

  • Facilitate UAT sessions, gather feedback, and ensure the systems meet business requirements and expectations.

Post-Implementation Support:

  • Provide support during the post-implementation phase, address user queries, troubleshoot issues, and facilitate continuous improvement of the system based on user feedback.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst.
  • Strong Conceptual understanding of Web Development technologies, SQL and API specifications, and documentation.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations.
  • Experience with project management methodologies and tools.
