We’re looking for a Senior Copywriter to join our Dynamic Team—a fast-paced group focused on outputting high-quality, platform-native content at scale across social, OLA, display, rich media, templated, and digital touchpoints. This role is ideal for a copywriter with strong conceptual and tactical skills, capable of leading assignments, mentoring junior teammates, and shaping copy that performs consistently across channels. You’ll partner with visual and motion designers, strategists and ad operations to ensure creative quality at scale, bringing a balance of storytelling craft, brand fluency, and performance insight. This role reports directly to a Copy Director and will help raise the creative bar across the team’s output.
Responsibilities
- Lead copy development across multiple digital formats—social, OLA, display, banners, email, landing pages, and templates
- Translate briefs and content matrices into polished, on-brand copy optimized for accuracy, tone, visual alignment and platform fit
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders—including designers, strategists, and ad ops—to deliver polished, production-ready creative
- QA your own work, ensuring deliverables meet specs, performance standards, and brand consistency at scale
- Mentor junior and mid-level copywriters by providing feedback, support, and craft guidance
- Present work in client and internal reviews, articulating creative rationale with clarity and confidence
- Incorporate feedback and performance learnings to refine copy, while contributing ideas to optimize for audience engagement and impact
- Stay fluent in emerging platform trends, performance metrics, and tactical creative approaches, contributing platform-aware ideas that optimize content and elevate campaign effectiveness
Experiences
- Portfolio of digital-first work showcasing versatility across digital, social, and content-at-scale formats (e.g., banners, OLA, paid social)
- Advanced ability to write clear, concise, and engaging copy across multiple brands and platforms
- Fluency in content matrices, creative briefs, and structured workflows
- Strong understanding of digital platforms, ad formats, and technical specs with an eye on audience engagement
- Proficiency in core tools (Google Suite, Adobe CC, Figma, collaboration platforms)
- Awareness of generative AI and content automation tools, with a willingness to learn how to evaluate and edit AI-assisted outputs under guidance
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality creative with both craft and efficiency in fast-paced, high-volume settings
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to contribute to cross-functional team problem solving
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Communications, Journalism, English, or related field—or equivalent experience
- 4–6 years of copywriting experience (agency, in-house, or freelance)
- Writing samples that demonstrate concise, platform-specific craft (social, OLA, digital content)
- Experience with content-at-scale practices and tactical creative production, with a focus on digital-first storytelling and creating work that drives performance
- Proven ability to manage multiple assignments independently and meet deadlines consistently
- Excellent grammar, proofreading, and attention to detail
- Strong presentation skills and comfort working in client-facing settings
Trade School is a remote-friendly workplace. This position follows a hybrid model, with regular in-person collaboration out of our Atlanta office and the flexibility to work remotely. Occasional travel for client events may also be required.
