Job Description
Scorewarrior, a Cyprus-based game developer and publisher, is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to support marketing decisions for their 4x strategy game, Total Battle. The role involves conducting Geo-Lift experiments, improving the Media Mix Modelling project, researching new statistical instruments, and performing A/B-tests and marketing hypothesis research. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of statistics, machine learning, and experience with data analysis tools like SQL and Python.
Good To Have:
- Worked with marketing user acquisition data in gamedev
- Skilled user of Tableau and ClickHouse
Must Have:
- Conduct researches, experiments, interpret and present results.
- Improve ML model (Marketing Media Mix) and perform feature engineering.
- Perform various types of modelling: simulations and predictive.
- Explore and implement new statistical methods and tools.
- Develop and maintain data marts, dashboards, and self-service analytics tools.
- Perform ad-hoc analysis.
- Identify patterns in data and develop high-quality hypotheses.
- Deep knowledge and hands-on experience of classical statistics hypotheses testing.
- Production experience with Machine Learning and feature-engineering.
- Practical experience researching statistical methods.

As our Data Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting marketing decisions through data-driven insights. Your main responsibilities will be Geo-Lift experiments, improvement of Media Mix Modelling project, R&D of new statistical instruments as well as A/B-tests and researches of marketing hypothesis.

- Improvement of ML model (Marketing Media Mix), feature engineering

- Explore and implement new statistical methods and tools
- Develop and maintain data marts, dashboards, and self-service analytics tools for marketing team
- Ad-hoc analysis

You could be a great fit for this position If you have:
- Deep knowledge of mathematical statistics, probability theory and time-series analysis
- Have the ability to identify patterns in data and develop high-quality hypotheses.
- Have a deep knowledge and “hands-on” experience of classical statistics hypotheses testing using Frequentist or Bayesian statistical approaches as well as time-series analysis methods and quasi-experiments
- Have a production experience with Machine Learning (Media Mix Models or regression models) and an extensive experience with feature-engineering
- Ideal candidate has also worked with marketing user acquisition data in gamedev
- Skilled user of SQL, Python and libraries for data analysis such as Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, Statsmodels, and ideally also of Tableau and ClickHouse.
- Practical experience of researching statistical methods: from hypothesis to implementation in decision-making process
- English B1 or higher, with a goal to reach C1 within one year.
