Senior Digital Artist - Spanish (4 Months Contract)

Kluge Interactive is an immersive game studio building the future of human connection through enhanced and immersive experiences. We are best known for Synth Riders, one of the most popular VR rhythm games.

We are currently working on several new VR titles and developing games for a social UGC platform, collaborating with some of the most influential companies in VR, music, and technology.

We are looking for a talented and versatile Senior Digital Artist to join our team and create impactful promotional art pieces. The position involves working on a wide variety of video game projects under the guidance of different studios.

The ideal candidate is a master of digital illustration and composition, with a passion for video games and a proven track record of creating high-quality, impactful key art. You will play a fundamental role in shaping the visual identity of multiple games, leading creative efforts from launch campaigns to potential live operations opportunities.

Minimum Requirements

• More than 5 years of experience as a Digital Artist, with a strong focus on promotional art for video games.
• Proven experience working across multiple game genres, with a clear understanding of what appeals to different player audiences.
• Expert proficiency in industry-standard software such as Adobe Photoshop and any digital painting tools like Procreate, Blender, Cinema 4D, or equivalents.
• A comprehensive portfolio demonstrating experience in digital illustration and 3D composition, especially in key art for video games, is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience with AI image generation tools and the ability to effectively integrate them into the artistic workflow.
• Strong sense of composition, color theory, and visual storytelling.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to clearly express creative ideas and feedback.

Desirable Qualifications

• Experience as a Video Editor and/or Motion Graphics Artist, creating game trailers and video content for marketing.
• Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro) and motion graphics tools (e.g., Adobe After Effects).
• Passion for casual mobile games and a deep understanding of the market.

Responsibilities

• Lead the creation of engaging promotional art for a wide range of video game genres, with a focus on casual and mobile games.
• Conceptualize, design, and execute high-resolution key art using various digital illustration and/or 3D composition techniques, as per project needs.
• Expertly use AI image generation tools as accelerators and enhancers of the artistic process, from ideation to final polish.
• Collaborate with different game teams to understand project objectives and deliver art that effectively communicates the game's theme and appeal.
• Ensure all promotional art maintains a consistent and high-quality visual standard across all marketing channels.
• Provide mentorship and guidance in the collaboration process with game studios.
