The Senior Director, Data, Analytics and Reporting will lead the critical function reporting into the CIO. Collaborating closely with executive leaders across the organization, including Finance, Operations, Product and Engineering, Business Applications, AI Engineering and Security teams ensuring our data assets are leveraged to their full potential. This role requires a leader who can build and mentor a world-class team while personally driving strategic initiatives and ensuring the integrity of our data foundation. A core part of your responsibility will be to champion and enable our AI strategy and technical foundations, ensuring that clean, trusted, and well-governed data is the foundation for all AI initiatives. You will also be a champion for the data user, focused on building a self-service data platform that empowers all Tekion employees to make data-driven decisions with confidence.
Recruit, mentor, and grow a diverse organization of data analysts, data engineers, and BI professionals. Foster a culture of excellence, inclusion, continuous learning, and collaboration, empowering your team to drive impact at scale.
Architect and implement a scalable data and AI vision that aligns with business goals and product direction. Establish and continuously refine the data architecture, tools, and processes necessary to provide high-quality, trusted data at enterprise scale.
Serve as a thought leader and strategic partner to Business Applications and AI Engineering, ensuring that data infrastructure, governance, and management practices are designed to accelerate AI/ML development and deployment. Oversee the creation of robust governance standards, high-quality and ethically sourced training datasets, and resilient data pipelines that fuel both operational and cutting-edge AI/ML solutions.
Partner closely with executive leadership across Finance, Operations, Product, and Engineering to deliver actionable insights, optimize business performance, and unlock new growth opportunities through best-in-class analytics, predictive modeling, and reporting.
Develop and oversee standards governing data quality, matching and merging, survivorship, and organizational data hierarchies, enabling accurate, integrated master data for the business.
The salary range describes the minimum to maximum base salary range for this position across applicable US locations. The actual compensation offered may vary from the posted hiring range based on geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. In addition to the compensation listed, this position may be eligible for equity compensation, and/or a bonus or commission whereby total compensation may exceed base salary depending on individual or company performance. $172,100 - $286,700 USD
