This role is central to aligning cross-functional teams, optimizing execution, and ensuring product and service delivery supports the company's mission. Responsibilities include establishing portfolio governance frameworks, defining and monitoring KPIs, collaborating with various teams for alignment, overseeing the portfolio roadmap, identifying and removing operational bottlenecks, and supporting organizational changes. The role reports to the Vice President of Strategic Operations.
Must have:
- 12+ years of experience in portfolio leadership.
- Proven track record of driving alignment in a global setting.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity technologies.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
- Deep experience with Agile/Lean practices.
Good to have:
- SAFe certification or PMP is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills.

What You Will Do
Forescout has an excellent opportunity for a strategic and Execution-focused We are seeking a strategic and execution-focused Senior Director of Portfolio Operations to lead the operational and strategic management of our cybersecurity product and program portfolio. This role will be central to aligning cross-functional teams, optimizing execution, and ensuring that our product and service delivery supports the company’s mission to continuously identify, protect and ensure the compliance of all cyber assets across the modern organization.
In this role, you will own:
Portfolio Strategy & Governance
- Establish portfolio governance frameworks that drive transparency, accountability, and strategic alignment with business goals.
- Define and monitor KPIs and performance metrics across product lines to ensure timely and high-impact delivery.
Cross-Functional Execution & Alignment
- Collaborate closely with leaders in Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Support to align on priorities, interdependencies, and go-to-market plans.
- Ensure visibility and coordination across concurrent initiatives including product launches, security updates, and customer-facing services.
- Oversee the portfolio roadmap cadence and executive-level reporting, ensuring timely updates on risks, status, and impact.
Operational Excellence
- Identify and remove operational bottlenecks, drive continuous process improvement, and foster a culture of accountability and data-informed decision-making.
- Lead efforts to mature agile, lean, or hybrid delivery methodologies within cybersecurity contexts.
Business Transformation & Change Management
- Support organizational changes, including post-M&A integration, business process redesign, and tool implementations (e.g., Monday, Smartsheet).
- Drive change management initiatives to scale operational rigor as the company grows.
This role reports to the Vice President of Strategic Operations.
If local to the Dallas / Fort Worth Metroplex, then it would be expected to work a hybrid position based primarily out of our office in Plano, Texas.

- 12+ years of experience in portfolio, program, or operations leadership roles within software or cybersecurity organizations.
- Proven track record of driving alignment across complex product or services portfolios with a global footprint.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity technologies, threat landscapes, and how security products are developed, delivered, and supported.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and influence skills across executive and technical audiences.
- Deep experience with Agile/Lean practices; SAFe certification or PMP a plus.
- Strong analytical skills; able to synthesize complex data into strategic insights and decisions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
