Job Description

Expression Games is seeking a highly-skilled Senior Environment Artist to model and texture environment kits, props, and organic assets. The role involves delivering high-quality content aligned with art direction, setting up environments with visual storytelling, and maintaining consistency across assigned level sectors. Candidates should possess strong artistic skills, expert knowledge of game development pipelines, and proficiency in Blender, Photoshop, Substance Painter, and Unreal Engine 4/5. This position also includes mentoring junior artists and fostering a collaborative studio culture.

Must Have:

Model and texture environment kits, hard-surface props and organic assets
Deliver high-quality content aligned with established art direction, production timelines and technical specifications
Set dress environments with compelling and believable visual storytelling
Maintain ownership of assigned level sectors ensuring consistency and quality
Contribute actively to feedback, planning and review sessions in collaboration with the art team
Partner with seniors across other disciplines to drive the creative and technical development of the title
Mentor and support junior artists providing guidance to develop their skills and performance
Foster a positive, collaborative and engaging studio culture through teamwork and professional conduct
Strong artistic skills
Experience in leading level environment teams
Expert knowledge of the video game development process and production pipelines
Excellent communication skills and teamwork-oriented attitude
Expert knowledge of Blender, Photoshop and Substance Painter
Experience creating content in Unreal Engine 4/5
Shipped multiple AA/AAA titles in a mid or senior role
