Job Description
MEP is seeking a highly motivated and versatile 3D Artist Freelance to contribute to exciting upcoming projects. The role involves creating high-quality 3D assets, including characters, environment props, and set pieces for playable and video ads. The artist will work closely with Creative Strategists, focusing on enhancing gameplay clarity, pacing, and ad storytelling through strong understanding of game mechanics and player experience.
Must Have:
Create high-quality 3D assets (characters, environment props, set pieces) for playable & video ads.
Strong understanding of game mechanics and player experience.
Strong experience in 3D modeling and sculpting (characters, props, environments), retopology, UV mapping, and PBR texturing.
Proficiency with 3D rigging and preparing models for animation.
Experience creating basic 3D animations.
Solid skills in texture and material creation.
Experience working with or creating visual effects (VFX).
Familiarity with Unity and optimizing assets for real-time performance.
Ability to produce assets with high speed, iterate quickly, and revert feedback on time.
Proficiency with 3D tools (Blender, Maya, ZBrush, Substance Painter).
Strong artistic sense and understanding of game art fundamentals, especially hyper-casual style.
Flexibility to work across various art styles.
Capable of handling multiple stages of the 3D process.
Familiarity with AI prompt for faster 3D production.

MEP is looking for a driven, multi-talented 3D Artist Freelance to work with us for the upcoming exciting projects!
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Work hand in hand with the Creative Strategist to create high-quality 3D assets (characters, environment props, set pieces) for playable & video ads with a strong understanding of game mechanics and player experience, ensuring visuals enhance gameplay clarity, pacing, and ad storytelling.
Strong experience in 3D modeling and sculpting (characters, props, environments), including retopology, UV mapping, and PBR texturing.
Proficiency with 3D rigging, strong ability to prepare models for animation and ensure clean deformation.
Experience creating basic 3D animations, including basic character actions, camera movements, or gameplay loops.
Solid skills in texture and material creation, including realistic and stylized surfaces (albedo, roughness, metallic, etc.).
Experience working with or creating visual effects (VFX), e.g., particles, special effects, shaders, or dynamic elements to enhance playable experiences.
Strong understanding of game mechanics, gamers experience, and game art.
Familiarity with Unity and optimizing assets process for real-time performance.
Ability to produce assets with high speed, iterate quickly, revert feedback on time to ensure project delivery.
QUALIFICATIONS
Proficiency with 3D tools (Blender, Maya, ZBrush, Substance Painter, etc.).
Strong artistic sense and understanding of game art fundamentals, with a focus on hyper-casual style.
Flexibility to work across a range of art styles, from stylized 2D and casual to realistic.
Capable of handling multiple stages of the 3D process, including modeling, animation, rigging, VFX, and asset integration.
