Instawork is seeking a hybrid Senior Field Sales Account Executive to join their growing team, focusing on creating economic opportunities for local businesses and skilled hourly workers. This role is crucial for establishing business relationships with mid-enterprise light industrial organizations. The position requires a proven track record in outside field sales, consistently exceeding quotas, and involves pursuing opportunities with multiple buyers. The executive will execute sales strategies for a B2B mobile marketplace app, reaching out to executives and decision-makers across various verticals, and utilizing a consulting sales process to highlight Instawork's advantages over competitors. Responsibilities include conducting field prospecting, networking, closing new business via phone and in-person meetings, providing accurate sales forecasts, collaborating with sales and operations teams, and offering product feedback.
Must have:
  • 3+ years of B2B field sales experience
  • Proven track record of exceeding quota

  • At least 2 years of lead generation/prospecting experience
  • Proficiency in Salesforce, Salesloft, Zoominfo

We have an immediate opening for a hybrid Senior ‘Field Sales’ Account Executive with a proven track record of success to join our rapidly growing team. Reporting to a Sales Manager, this role serves as a critical sales team member. It is responsible for establishing a collaborative business relationship between Instawork and mid-enterprise light industrial organizations. This role requires outside, field sales experience, ideally in mid-market or enterprise verticals, and includes pursuits that include multiple buyers and stages. This is a results-driven position that requires a track record of success – consistently exceeding quota.

Who You Are:

  • 3+ years experience in B2B field sales with a focus on net-new business/logo acquisition
  • A track record of success – consistently exceeding quota
  • Competitive mentality with an innate desire to be at the top of the leaderboard
  • Experience – You follow a sales process and methodology (Solutions selling, Challenger, or other)
  • You have at least 2 years of experience in lead generation/prospecting net new business via door-to-door prospecting, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas through face-to-face client interactions
  • Proficiency in Salesforce, Salesloft, and Zoominfo
  • Preferred but not required: You have successfully sold into the light industrial industry

What You’ll Do:

  • Establish a collaborative business relationship between Instawork and prospective clients
  • Executing the sales strategy for our B2B mobile marketplace app by reaching out to executives and key decision makers across multiple verticals
  • Utilize a consulting sales process to demonstrate how Instawork is a faster and cost-effective solution compared to competitors
  • Ensure a top-notch first experience with Instawork and obsess over expanding the account in the first months as a customer
  • Strategically work an assigned account list focusing on net new client acquisition, closing new business over the phone and in-person by delivering tailored sales presentations
  • Conduct field prospecting activities, including visiting potential clients’ businesses, attending industry events, and networking to uncover new sales opportunities
  • Provide accurate weekly forecasts and sales plans
  • Work collaboratively with the sales and operations teams to drive revenue growth with new customers
  • Provide actionable product feedback to our supporting teams and the VP of Sales to help iterate our value offering
  • Utilize our tools and maintain a healthy Salesforce pipeline
  • Manage your time effectively between office work and field activities to maximize sales opportunities
  • Demonstrate products or services through in-person presentations and demonstrations at client sites

For AZ based applicants:

  • The base salary for this position is $80,000, eligible OTE for a total of $160k, and uncapped commissions
  • This position is eligible for equity in the form of stock options
  • This position is eligible for Instawork benefits, including:

Various factors are considered when determining someone’s compensation, including a candidate’s professional background, experience, and location.  Final offer amounts may vary from the amounts listed above.
