Senior Game Designer

Original Games is seeking an experienced Senior Game Designer to join their Game Development team. The role involves working on existing casual titles and new projects, focusing on creating and maintaining a fun player experience, improving monetization, and core KPIs. Responsibilities include designing new features, balancing game elements, working on systems and economy design, and taking full ownership of features from ideation to performance evaluation.

Must Have

• Design new features and content for long-term game vision
• Build and maintain balance for new and existing features
• Work on systems design, economy design and LiveOps
• Take full ownership of features (ideation to evaluation)
• Use spreadsheets for balancing models, economy simulations, dashboards, LiveOps tools
• Collaborate with developers on configs and JSON-based data structures
• Monitor KPIs and use data-driven mindset for gameplay, events, economy
• Research market trends, analyze competing titles, extract learnings
• 3+ years of game design experience
• Confident with spreadsheets, formulas, balancing models, analytical tools
• Experience building and scaling game economies, including LiveOps
• Understands game configuration systems (JSON or similar)
• Hands-on content design experience and clear documentation
• Experience owning features end-to-end
• Communicates ideas clearly using various tools
• Manages time efficiently in a fast-moving environment

• Take full ownership of features — from ideation and documentation to rollout and performance evaluation
• Use spreadsheets extensively to create balancing models, economy simulations, dashboards and LiveOps tools
• Collaborate closely with developers and understand how configs and JSON-based data structures work
• Monitor KPIs and use a data-driven mindset to refine gameplay, events and economy
• Research market trends, analyze competing titles and extract learnings for the team

We're looking for:

• Has 3+ years of game design experience
• Works confidently with spreadsheets, including formulas, balancing models and analytical tools
• Has experience building and scaling game economies, including LiveOps-driven expansions
• Understands how game configuration systems work (JSON or similar formats) and can communicate effectively with developers
• Has hands-on content design experience and writes clear, structured documentation
• Has experience owning features end-to-end
• Communicates ideas clearly using documentation, diagrams, spreadsheets or visual tools
• Manages time efficiently and thrives in a fast-moving environment
• Actively seeks growth, gives and receives feedback and stays updated on mobile game trends
