About the position

As a Senior Game Producer, you will be working within our development teams to create engaging Roblox experiences. With a faster development time compared to traditional game development, you will be overseeing multiple projects – being adaptable and understanding what is needed is a core element of this position. 

The Senior Producer should bring a solid experience of game development practices, have experience being the glue for a project and working with and helping different disciplines to deliver on quality/time/budget. Team Leadership, a player centric mindset and being a great problem solver are key to this role - and extra points for understanding Roblox/Metaverse gaming, audience and development.

Key Skills

• Be part of a team that drives game development and release, coming up with feature ideas or future development plans, helping with estimates, solving problems and making sure the end to end experience is delivered to a high standard.
• Help define budget, scope, milestones and deliverables of the project.
• Understand of all disciplines (art, design, code, project management, UI/UX, sound) to make sure the right people are doing the right work and getting relevant feedback.
• Keep the vision of the game on track, it is your responsibility that the game has a soul.
• On branded games, be a voice for the game and company to the client, and understand their goals and needs for the project. 
• Stop the wrong features from going into development  and if they do get into development, stop them from reaching the player.
• Collaborate with all disciplines and be a guide and mentor when needed.
• An understanding of metrics a game can be measured by, game analytics and how games can be updated to improve them.
  
  About you

• Have 5+ years experience working on a game or games through development, game release and an understanding of how a live game can be supported and updated post launch.
• Enjoy playing games and an understanding of what makes a good and enjoyable experience for a player. 
• Ideally you would have some experience working on Roblox, but this is not essential. However understanding the Roblox platform as well as other similar platforms and audience is key to this role.
• Be a team player and be able to communicate well with all disciplines of game development.
• You need to be able to put your vision of what the players should experience when playing the game into words for the team. 
• A strong ability to collaborate with multiple teams, and be diplomatic, capable of balancing different points of view.
• A Problem Solver and a self starter
• An understanding of balancing time, quality and budget and making sure we maximise what we have to deliver the best results. 
• Excellent knowledge of production, difficulties generally encountered by the teams and help create solutions tailored to their requirements.

• Use Analytics to back up your decisions and suggestions with data where appropriate.
• Confident dealing with stake holders and clients on branded games. Happy to be a key point of contact for the game. 
• Experience of collaborating with and being a leader in teams of around 10 people.
• Exposure to delivering projects within project management frameworks such as Agile, Scrum and Kanban is beneficial and any other tools or methodologies.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and great verbal and written communication
  skills in English
