Progress is seeking a Senior Global Benefits Analyst to support the EMEA region, focusing on compliance, benefits legislation, and ensuring legal adherence across Eastern and Western Europe. This role is crucial for managing benefits programs, navigating complex regulatory environments, and supporting annual renewals. The analyst will collaborate with global teams, HR Operations, and legal partners to ensure smooth and compliant benefits administration, contributing to the company's mission of propelling business forward.
Must Have
- Ensure EMEA benefits programs comply with local regulations and labor laws
- Stay updated on benefits-related legislation changes in Eastern and Western Europe
- Support the EMEA benefits renewal process with local vendors, brokers, and internal stakeholders
- Work with APAC and Americas teams to ensure global benefits program consistency and compliance
- Manage relationships with external benefits vendors and insurance providers, ensuring regulatory compliance and service expectations
- Develop clear and compliant communication materials for EMEA employees
- Provide regular reports on benefits utilization, compliance status, and regulatory changes across EMEA
- Act as a key point of contact for benefits-related inquiries from EMEA employees
- At least 5 years of experience in benefits administration or analysis with a strong focus on compliance and legislation in EMEA
- Solid experience managing benefits in both Eastern and Western Europe
- Strong knowledge of local benefits legislation across EMEA
- Proficient in using data and analytics to track benefits performance and identify compliance risks
- Excellent communication skills and high attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work cross-functionally in a global environment
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or a related field

This role will support the EMEA region and will be primarily focused on compliance, benefits legislation, and ensuring that our offerings are legally compliant across both Eastern and Western Europe.
The Senior Global Benefits Analyst will be a key player in managing the benefits programs across the EMEA region, with a strong emphasis on compliance, local legislation, and ensuring that benefits are aligned with regional legal requirements. This role will support the execution of benefits strategies, with particular attention to navigating complex regulatory environments and supporting annual renewals in the region. The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Global Benefits and other regional teams (APAC and Americas), collaborating with Compensation, HR Operations, and legal partners to ensure smooth and compliant benefits administration.
In this role, you will:
- Ensure that all benefits programs across EMEA comply with local regulations and labor laws. Stay up to date on changes to benefits-related legislation in both Eastern and Western Europe and advise stakeholders on necessary adjustments to programs.
- Support the EMEA benefits renewal process by working with local vendors, brokers, and internal stakeholders. Ensure the renewal process is carried out within the framework of legal compliance and budget guidelines.
- Work with colleagues supporting the APAC and Americas regions to ensure global benefits programs are consistent and compliant, while also being mindful of regional differences in legislation and employee needs.
- Manage relationships with external benefits vendors and insurance providers, ensuring they meet regulatory requirements and service expectations. Oversee contract compliance, performance, and service delivery. Partner with Accounts Payable to provide timely and accurate payments to these vendors.
- Develop clear and compliant communication materials for EMEA employees. Help ensure employees understand their benefits and how these programs align with local legislative requirements.
- Provide regular reports on benefits utilization, compliance status, and regulatory changes across EMEA. Use data insights to recommend adjustments to benefits programs that align with both employee needs and compliance requirements.
- Act as a key point of contact for benefits-related inquiries from employees across EMEA, particularly regarding compliance, legislative issues, and program eligibility.

Your background:
- At least 5 years of experience in benefits administration or analysis, with a strong focus on compliance and legislation in the EMEA region.
- Solid experience managing benefits in both Eastern and Western Europe, understanding the differences in labor laws, social security systems, and other region-specific regulations.
- Experience with annual benefits renewals and vendor management.
- Strong knowledge of local benefits legislation across EMEA, including an understanding of taxation, pensions, social insurance, and health and wellness programs.
- Proficient in using data and analytics to track benefits performance and identify compliance risks.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex compliance information into accessible content for both employees and stakeholders.
- High level of attention to detail, particularly with regard to compliance and legislative changes.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, global environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
- Benefits or compliance-related certifications (e.g., GBA, CEBS, or equivalent) are a plus.
- Deep understanding of the benefits landscape in both Eastern and Western Europe, with experience navigating local regulations and labor laws.
- Strong ability to use data and metrics to assess program effectiveness and identify compliance gaps.
- Ability to build strong relationships with internal partners (HR, Compensation, Legal) and external vendors, particularly in the context of compliance and regulation.
- Able to independently identify issues, propose solutions, and manage change effectively in a dynamic, complex global environment.
- Experience with utilizing Workday a plus.
