Job Description

This Senior Health & Protection Consultant role involves managing a portfolio of Healthcare and Protection clients, providing consulting advice, and ensuring revenue profitability. The role requires developing strong client relationships, expanding business lines, and proactively working with internal teams. The candidate will also need to have financial and commercial acumen, consulting and relationship management skills, and excellent communication skills. This is a hybrid role requiring at least three days a week in the office.

We are seeking a talented Senior Health & Protection Consultant to join our Large Corporate Consulting Team at Mercer Marsh Benefits (MMB). This role will be based in our London or Chichester office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

We will count on you to:

  • To develop and maintain a portfolio of Healthcare and Protection clients, by providing quality consulting advice and ongoing service

  • To ensure that revenue from this portfolio is profitable and to expand business lines and service delivery where appropriate

  • To manage and develop strong client relationships and win new business. To work pro-actively with internal teams to deliver client expectations in line with agreed client account plans

What you need to have:

  • In depth Healthcare and Group Risk knowledge is essential

  • Financial and Commercial acumen (including fee negotiation skills)

  • Consulting and relationship management skills

  • Technical, product and process knowledge

  • Inter-personal, communication and time management skills

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
