Job Summary
Applike is seeking an experienced HR professional to manage HR solutions for its tech, mobile gaming, and user acquisition portfolio companies. This role involves overseeing the complete employee lifecycle, managing operational HR tasks, fostering a performance culture, and contributing to workforce planning. The HR Manager will be the primary HR contact, partnering with leadership to address employee relations, skill gaps, and organizational changes. They will also collaborate on HR projects for group-wide impact, maintain HR data, and utilize HRIS for efficient workflows. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of HR experience, proficiency in German labor law, and experience in fast-paced tech environments. The role requires strong stakeholder management, adaptability, intercultural competence, and excellent communication skills.
Must Have
- 5+ years of hands-on HR experience

Job Description
What you will do:
- HR Operations & Administration: Manage daily HR operations, e.g. relocation, visa, promotions, L&D, data/reporting, and documents.
- Seamless Onboarding: Ensure a best-in-class onboarding experience.
- Partner with Leadership & Employees:
- Collaborate on HR Projects: Engage in cross-functional HR projects designed to elevate business impact, enhance employee experience, and optimize overall HR operations.
- Data-Driven HR & Knowledge Management: Maintain accurate HR data and streamline knowledge using HRIS (Personio) for workflows, payroll, and information sharing.
Who you are:
- Extensive HR Expertise: 5+ years of hands-on HR experience, demonstrating:
- German Labor Law Proficiency: Very solid understanding of German labor law and HR processes across the entire employee lifecycle.
- Stakeholder Management: Demonstrated expertise in balancing diverse (HR) interests within a group of companies with varying needs.
- Adaptability in Dynamic Environments: Proven ability to navigate and thrive in growing and evolving organizations.
- Intercultural Competence: Strong intercultural skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and international stakeholders.
- Confident Communicator: Articulate communicator at all levels, including senior leadership and external partners (e.g., authorities).
- HRIS & Data: Experience with HRIS tools (ideally Personio) and a strong commitment to organized, data-driven HR practices.
- Language Proficiency: Business fluency in English, written and spoken. Fluency in German is a plus.
