The Global Mobility Specialist at Reel FX in Montreal will manage all immigration and relocation matters for new and current employees, acting as the primary contact. Must Have

- Oversee all aspects of the Immigration process
- Research and prepare appropriate legal documents for application
- Prepare LMIA, CAQ, CUSMA, CSQ, Permanent Residency, and other visa submissions
- Remain up to date with any changes to legislation
- 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar position
- Member of the Barreau du Québec or Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council
- Bilingual (French and English)
- Microsoft Office proficient

Job Summary
We’re excited to be back in our Montreal studio Tuesday thru Thursday… come join us! The Global Mobility Specialist will be the first point of contact for all immigration and relocation-related matters for new and current employees. The Global Mobility Specialist is responsible for providing employees with advice and guidance on how best to obtain required documentation to work in Reel FX and how to complete this process smoothly. The Global Mobility Specialist must work within strict timelines and communicate with authorities and the employees consistently via email or telephone and must have a strong understanding of border control procedures as well as any related legislation.
Responsibilities
- The main responsibility of the Global Mobility Specialist is to facilitate the immigration and relocation process while working closely with the HR/Talent Acquisition team;
- Determine under which program a candidate or employee would qualify;
- Oversee all aspects of the Immigration process, ensuring that the process runs smoothly;
- Research the appropriate legal documents required for the application process and prepare instruction document lists accordingly;
- Prepare LMIA, CAQ, CUSMA, CSQ, Permanent Residency, all other program applications or documentation required and visa submissions;
- Follow-up with employees, HR/Talent Acquisition team on a regular basis;
- Make sure to remain up to date with any changes to legislation;
- Train some HR/Talent Acquisition colleagues and hiring managers to enhance their understanding of immigration rules to help them to fulfil their roles to a high level;
- Prepare documents for Service Canada audits;
- Manage transition and benefit plans under the Global Talent Stream;
- Improve process efficiencies where possible;
- Perform administrative tasks such as reporting, analysis, update guidelines, process, track budget, expense report and filing etc.;
- Participate in special HR projects as required.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education with other qualifications relevant to Immigration;
- 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar position;
- Member of the Barreau du Québec or Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory
- Council;
- Organized and detail oriented;
- Excellent client service and communication skills; ability to interact in a positive manner
- with a variety of personalities;
- Must be able to work under tight deadlines and pressure;
- Passionate about immigration law;
- Bilingual (French and English)
