Senior Information Security Engineer

Let’s start with the role

• Contribute to the design, implementation, and maintenance of application security controls across the IT infrastructure, including cloud environments, to secure Kaizen Gaming’s SDLC process;
• Contribute to the security of applications by identifying vulnerabilities and mitigating security risks;
• Support the implementation and management of cloud security best practices and controls for platforms such as Azure Cloud and Gitlab;
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of security documentation, policies, and procedures;
• Carry out security assessments to identify potential weaknesses;
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure security is integrated throughout the technology stack;
• Stay up to date with the latest security threats, trends, and technologies in DevSecOps, Application Security, and Cloud Security;
• Assist in the evaluation and implementation of new security tools and technologies;
• Contribute to the automation of security tasks and processes;
• Support compliance efforts with relevant laws, regulations, and security standards (e.g., GDPR, PCI DSS, ISO 27001).

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience);
• Familiarity with at least one public cloud provider (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud security concepts;
• Strong understanding of application security concepts, common vulnerabilities (e.g., OWASP Top 10), and secure coding practices;
• Exposure to DevSecOps principles and the integration of security into CI/CD pipelines is a plus;
• Basic scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash) are desirable;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills;
• A proactive and eager attitude towards learning and professional development in the field of Security.
