Established in 2016, the Greek entity Arηs Developments Hellas aims to extend Arηs Group activities dedicated to the European market providing high-quality services in Software Development, covering the entire application development lifecycle: starting with user requirements, business process redesign, and specifications, to continue with development, testing, and application maintenance.
We are currently looking for a IT Project Manager who will be dedicated to a challenging projects for strategic clients in the banking sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define the project scope in collaboration with the Project Owner and Senior Management. Set goals and metrics on which the evaluation will be based upon completion.
- Create a detailed work plan where the required actions for the successful completion of the project have been identified and prioritized (monitoring and adjusting the plan as necessary, recording resources – time, money, equipment, etc.).
- Manage the project team and stakeholders according to the policies and practices of the Organization.
- Monitor and control the budget consumption of the project and implement adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion.
- Prepare reports and communicate the status of the project to Senior Management and business units.
- Identify risks and issues, propose and ensure management actions, and provide timely information to Senior Management and business units. Confirm results as defined during the planning phase.
Skills:
- At least 5-6 years of experience in IT project management ideally in banking or financial services sector
- Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal) as well as advanced negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical thinking and data analysis skills with a problem-solving approach.
- Strong business acumen and a keen interest in innovation and "out of the box" thinking.
- Commitment to delivering results and executing proactive actions and tasks. Prioritization and successful management of ambiguous situations.
- Excellent knowledge of Project Management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, etc
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
- Excellent communication skills in Greek and English.
- Certification in Project Management such as PMP, Prince2, PM2 Essentials or equivalent is considered a strong plus
