Job Description

The Sr. Manager of Supply Chain & Operations is responsible for the overall direction and leadership of supply chain management activities, including demand planning, procurement, repair operations, and replenishment optimization. The role involves identifying operational and financial inefficiencies, implementing best practices for continuous inventory optimization, cost reduction, and improved product quality. Key responsibilities include driving supply chain performance, overseeing repair and refurbishment operations for efficiency and cost reduction, managing external repair partners, and developing scalable supply chain management concepts for the Hardware as a Service business model. The position also requires developing and maintaining an effective inventory forecasting and control system, implementing supply chain cash flow maximization strategies, leading strategic projects for workflow optimization, and establishing an effective Supply Chain operational model with a multi-year roadmap.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Operations Management or Supply Chain Management
  • 4+ years of related field experience

Job Description

The Sr. Manager of Supply Chain & Operations is responsible for the overall direction and leadership of supply chain management activities which includes but is not limited to; demand planning, procurement, repair operations, and replenishment optimization. The Sr. Manager of Supply Chain will identify operational and financial inefficiencies and implement best practices that ensure continuous inventory optimization, reduction in operating costs and improved product quality.   

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Drive supply chain to achieve optimal performance at the lowest cost of ownership, deliver annual productivity objectives and partner with Finance and Senior Leadership team to deliver on strategic priorities

  • Oversee and enhance the repair and refurbishment operations, focusing on efficiency, cost reduction, quality improvement, and rapid turnaround times to support the HaaS model and customer satisfaction. This includes managing external repair partners, optimizing internal repair processes, and ensuring the timely return of refurbished assets to the inventory pool.

  • Introduce and implement supply chain management concepts which are scalable, flexible, and continuously add value to Hardware as a Service business model

  • Develops and/or maintains an effective inventory forecasting, planning, and control system for replenishment, optimal inventory turns, surplus management, and minimal obsolescence

  • Develop and implement supply chain cash flow maximization strategies. 

  • Lead strategically critical projects which add value through workflow optimization, reduced inventory control expenses, and improved customer satisfaction

  • Develop and implement strategies to leverage optimum prices, including sourcing strategies

  • Establish an effective Supply Chain operational model and a multi-year roadmap of strategic initiatives to build capabilities that support business objectives

Additional Qualified Skills:

  • Ability to provide leadership to accomplish organizational goals and commitments

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to respond to customer and business requests, communicate with a wide variety of levels and positions and influence others to create productive partnerships

  • Data-Driven Leader, with experience building and leveraging data analysis to make decisions 

  • Ability to adapt and be able to deal with ambiguity and rapid change;

  • Additional Qualifications –negotiation, problem-solving and conflict resolution skills 

  • Hardware as a service experience


Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Operation Management, Supply Chain Management or 4+ years of related field experience in procurement, operations management, or sourcing

  • 10+ experience of leading supply chain and operations organization within the electronics field
