Match Group is seeking a Senior Manager, Product Compliance to join their Legal team, focusing on driving cross-functional compliance for their global portfolio of dating platforms. This role involves overseeing the coordination, tracking, and execution of compliance initiatives driven by product and engineering teams. The Senior Manager will manage the enterprise-wide compliance tracking program, ensuring effective collaboration and alignment on new and ongoing legal and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include acting as a project manager for the compliance tracking program, building centralized processes, leading planning and prioritization of compliance deliverables, and translating legal guidance into operational requirements for product teams. The role requires collaboration across brand product teams and central functions to coordinate compliance initiatives, maintain communication workflows, and support issue escalation. Experience with AI tools and social discovery platforms is beneficial.
Must have:
  • 5+ years in tech product compliance, product management, policy, legal ops, or legal
  • Strong experience managing cross-functional programs

  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
  • Proactive and solution-oriented mindset with attention to detail
  • Experience with program and task tracking tools (e.g., Monday.com, Jira)
  • Experience using product management and design software (e.g., Figma, Miro)
  • Comfortable using AI tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, Zoom AI Companion
  • Experience working with product and engineering teams in fast-paced environments

  • Experience with social discovery platforms, marketplace businesses, user-generated content, or regulated products

We’re looking for a Senior Manager, Product Compliance to join our Legal team and drive cross-functional compliance for our global portfolio of dating platforms. 

In this role, you will oversee the coordination, tracking, and execution of compliance initiatives driven by our product and engineering teams across our global portfolio of dating apps. You’ll play a key role in managing our enterprise-wide compliance tracking program, ensuring effective cross-functional collaboration and alignment around the implementation of both new and ongoing legal and regulatory compliance requirements.

This role is an exciting opportunity to assist with connecting Match Group central functions (such as legal, privacy and trust and safety), and the individual brand product and engineering teams, ensuring that compliance efforts are well-prioritized, clearly communicated, and efficiently executed.

This role is based in one of our North America locations (NYC, West Hollywood, or Dallas) where we observe a hybrid work environment with 3 days per week in office.  Fully remote may be considered for the right candidate located outside those regions.  

Key Responsibilities:
    • Serve as the project manager for Match Group’s enterprise-wide Legal, Privacy, and Trust & Safety product compliance tracking program for all dating app brands.
    • Build and maintain centralized processes and documentation that enable transparency and accountability across the compliance lifecycle.
    • Regulatory Compliance and CollaborationLead the planning, prioritization, and tracking of compliance deliverables and execution across brands, aligned with regulatory timelines and business objectives.
    • Develop structure and provide support for our Legal, Government Relations and Trust & Safety teams as we work together to identify, assess the impact, design and monitor our compliance efforts for new and evolving global regulations affecting dating and social connection platforms.
    • Assist in the translation of legal guidance into operational requirements and practical implementation plans for product teams.
    • Collaborate across individual brand product teams and with Match Group central functions to coordinate and organize product-related compliance initiatives.
    • Execution, Communication & MonitoringEnsure timely execution and tracking of brand-level product compliance in accordance with legal and regulatory guidance.
    • Maintain and evolve communication workflows, dashboards, and reporting structures to provide visibility and accountability to leadership and stakeholders.
    • Support issue escalation and resolution across compliance initiatives as needed.

Required Qualifications:
    • 5+ years of experience in technology product compliance, product management, policy, legal operations, or legal (paralegal or in a related role), ideally within a global technology or digital product organization.
    • Strong experience managing cross-functional programs or initiatives involving regulatory and operational stakeholders.
    • Excellent project and program management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities, timelines, and teams.
    • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
    • A proactive and solution-oriented mindset with a strong attention to detail.
    • Experience using program and task tracking tools (such as Monday.com, Jira, or similar) and product management and design software (such as Figma, Miro, etc).
    • Comfortable with and interested in applying AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and Zoom AI Companion in your everyday work to automate repetitive tasks and improve output quality such as in drafting documents, generating structured outputs and improving personal and team workflows.
    • Experience working with product and engineering teams in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
    • Experience with social discovery platforms, marketplace businesses, user-generated content, and/or regulated products and consumer facing technology.
    • Working knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as DSA, UK OSA, EU AI Act, EU Accessibility Act and global consumer protection laws is a plus.

$150,000 - $190,000 a year
Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary range is reflective of a position based in Los Angeles or NY. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
