Job Description

Samsung Semiconductor is seeking a Senior Manager of Recruiting to lead a team of recruiters and coordinators, driving the strategy and execution of the fiscal workforce plan. This role involves full-cycle recruitment, pipeline management, and mentorship of the recruiting team. The ideal candidate will collaborate with business leaders to develop effective recruitment strategies, partner with Talent Acquisition teams, and position Samsung as a leader in attracting high-performing talent within the semiconductor industry. Responsibilities include increasing AI in recruiting, managing team metrics, and expanding the talent network. Must have:
  • 10+ years of Talent Acquisition experience
  • 5+ years of management experience
  • Experience managing a recruiting team
  • Semiconductor or high-tech industry experience
  • Proficiency in staffing tools (LinkedIn, Greenhouse, Workday)
  • BS degree or equivalent
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow compliance laws
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

What You’ll Do
Reporting to the Sr. Director of Talent Acquisition, you will lead a team of recruiters, recruiting coordinators, and the contingent recruiting partnership. The Sr. Manager of Recruiting will be responsible for the strategy and hiring execution of the fiscal workforce plan. You will drive key activities including full cycle recruitment, candidate pipeline management and development. As the leader of the recruiting team, you will be responsible to set the example for excellence and act as a mentor to your team.

Location: Daily onsite presence at our CITY office/headquarters in alignment with our Flexible Work policy

  • Lead direct hire recruiting team including recruiting coordinators and hiring execution of the fiscal workforce plan.
  • Execute the recruiting strategy and full cycle recruitment process, including identify positions to fill based on approved hiring plans, scoping out positions to define job requirements, job level, and compensation range, determine sourcing methodology, interview and selection process, pre-screening candidates, conducting interview process while practicing great candidate care, consolidating interview evaluations, preparing and negotiating job offers.
  • Responsible for all compliance programs related to attracting and hiring talent.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to design, develop, communicate, and implement an effective recruitment strategy and corresponding process.
  • Partner with stakeholders to drive alignment across Talent Acquisition teams; Operations, Sourcing, and University Relations.
  • Position Samsung as a global leader for high performing talent within the Semiconductor space and beyond.
  • Drive system and tool efficiency, utilize quantitative skills and abilities to manage team by metrics.
  • Increase AI throughout the recruiting process to improve speed and thoroughness of activities.
  • Expand our talent network and industry partner portfolio.

What You Bring

  • 10+ years of Talent Acquisition (TA) experience required
  • 5+ years management experience
  • Demonstrated experience in effectively managing a recruiting team required
  • Prior experience working in a semiconductor or high-tech industry required
  • Proficient in staffing tools and systems (i.e. LinkedIn, Greenhouse, Workday) required 
  • BS degree or equivalent required
  • Excellent planning, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent people skills to sell the company/ job and attract talent
  • Goal Setting, Tracking, Follow-through – ability to set and track goals for the team with meaningful metrics that generate high quality best fit candidates
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, follow compliance laws and regulations
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Must be a team player and caring leader with a strong moral compass

Individual pay rates depend on a number of factors—including the role’s function and location, as well as the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, education, and training. Base Pay Range

$165,550 - $264,450 USD
