They will also mentor junior staff, develop boilerplate materials, and maintain project information. Must have:
  • 5 years of marketing experience in engineering or related firms
  • Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and other Office Products
  • Proficient in Adobe InDesign and Acrobat
  • Excellent verbal communications skills
  • Good knowledge of and passion for technology, social media
  • Excellent attention to detail and outstanding organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Purpose & Need

Patel, Greene and Associates (PGA) is seeking a Senior Marketing Coordinator to join our team in the Fort Lauderdale office. This will be PGA’s first marketing position based in its new Fort Lauderdale office. An individual in this position has prior experience as a marketing coordinator and leverages lessons learned to work more autonomously and strategically in executing tasks. They are largely capable of handling coordination and production of proposals from start to finish and have a foundational understanding how the funding and procurement process for PGA’s primary clients. Like a Marketing Coordinator, this individual should be able to pivot between high priority assignments and perform quality work in time-sensitive environments. This position supports career growth and leadership within a firm committed to elevating both communities and its people. 

What You'll Do

  • Lead coordination and production of proposals including formatting, printing, and production  
  • Facilitate presentation and interview rehearsals 
  • Support maintenance of CRM records and monitor project records for accuracy 
  • Mentor assigned Marketing Coordinator I staff 
  • Develop boilerplate materials (proposal content, firm bios, etc.) 
  • Maintain project cutsheet information and ensure data is incorporated into the Project Mapping Tool 
  • Evaluate technical content to make sure it satisfies all RFP requirements and company standards   
  • Identify and solicit partnering firms about potential teaming arrangements 
  • Provide appropriate firm information to any inquiring parties 
  • Engage in professional and/or community organizations to promote the firm 

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's degree, majoring in marketing, communications, business or a related field  
  • 5 years of post-graduation experience in marketing for engineering or related industry firms 
  • Related experience may be considered instead of the required education 

What You'll Bring 

  • Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and other Office Products  
  • Proficient in Adobe InDesign and Acrobat   
  • Able to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing 
  • Excellent verbal communications skills and the ability to interact with a variety of clients  
  • Good knowledge of and passion for technology, social media in a business and strategic context  
  • Excellent attention to detail and outstanding organizational skills 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards in all work efforts 
  • Good ability to perform multiple tasks in an organized manner and concurrently and at the direction of PGA’s Leadership team and Marketing Director 
  •  Ability to work independently and as part of a team on deadline-driven activities
