SimCorp is seeking a Senior Outreach Business Consultant to support its global business growth from the Warsaw office. This role involves providing business support and solutions to clients worldwide, focusing on interacting with third parties like custodians and brokers. The consultant will manage communication, schedule meetings, track milestones, and escalate issues, contributing to product development and ensuring smooth onboarding processes. Must Have:
  • Initiate contact with external third parties (custodians, brokers, management companies)
  • Schedule meeting sessions between senior outreach business expert and third party
  • Communicate with third parties to reach milestones (obtaining sample files, introducing AccessFintech, scheduling testing, confirming BIC codes, exploring test-BIC availability)
  • Establish SWIFT message connections (RMA) if required
  • Update milestones in outreach tracking tools and contribute to product development backlog
  • Discuss deliverable/undeliverable milestones and coordinate next steps with senior outreach business expert
  • Escalate issues beyond expertise or non-responsive third parties to senior outreach business expert
  • Communicate client feedback to project manager
  • Process all material through the ASH onboarding mail portal
  • Relay questions/requests from third parties to outcome teams
  • Attend weekly meetings with AccessFintech to align on mapping status
  • Provide clarification and relevant responses to requests from AccessFintech

SimCorp is experiencing a substantial increase in business globally and to support our growth we are looking for a Lead Business Consultant. This is a truly global role, based in our Warsaw office. In this key role you will work with all our clients across the world and provide business support and solutions to overcome issues encountered by these clients.

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

  • Initiate contact with external third party (like custodians, brokers, management companies etc) after the initial contact from the client
  • Schedule meeting sessions between senior outreach business expert and third party after the initial contact and whenever third party requires the meeting
  • Communicate with third parties to reach milestones such as: obtaining sample files from third parties, introducing AccessFintech (our data conversion partner), scheduling testing,confirming BIC codes, exploring test-BIC availability
  • If required, establish the connection needed with the third parties that are exchanging SWIFT messages (RMA)
  • Update the reached milestones in outreach tracking tool, related excel files and contributes with required information to the product development backlog file
  • Discuss with senior outreach business expert deliverable and undeliverable milestones and coordinate next steps
  • Escalate to a senior outreach business expert if issues arise beyond associate’s expertise or if third parties are not responding
  • Communicate with project manager feedback required from the client to proceed with the outreach
  • Processing of all material that passes through the ASH onboarding mail portal
  • Relay questions and/or requests from the third parties to the outcome teams (but not vice versa, as the PM needs to assess to what degree the questions/requests the outcome teammay have shall be forwarded to the third parties)
  • If required, attend weekly meetings with AccessFintech to align with the team on the mapping status
  • Provide clarification and relevant responses to requests from AccessFintech

WHAT WE VALUE

  • Understanding the custodian and asset management players in the market, their specifics and legal environment to a fair extent
  • Experience with post trade processes until fund accounting starts
  • Understanding what order executions, settlements and reconciliations are
  • Knowledge of SWIFT messages and their contents
  • Understanding of general interfacing challenges
  • Understanding of general testing processes and requirements in a project
  • Experience in onboarding within Asset Management / Asset Servicing industry (SimCorp Dimension or equivalent)
  • Expertise in data mapping topics
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Ability to successfully navigate in an environment with missing/incomplete information and manage discrepancies
