This role empowers product teams to solve complex customer and business problems by deeply understanding user needs through qualitative research and quantitative metrics. The Senior Product Analyst will drive new customer discovery, evaluate product fit, and collaborate with engineering for smooth rollouts. They will also help launch new products with early adopters, gather feedback for improvements, and champion the domain by tracking industry trends and competitive landscapes to define product improvement strategies. The position requires a hybrid work model with 3 days onsite and up to 20% travel.
Must have:

Job Details

We empower our product teams to solve hard problems – customer problems and business problems – in ways that our customers love. As a Staff Business Analyst, your key responsibilities would be -

Key Responsibilities

  • Deeply understand and embody the voice of the customer - Be in front of the users, do qualitative research and define and track quantitative product metrics. You will then be communicating to the team a deep understanding of our users, their underlying pain points, the data about how they go about doing their day to day job, and later on how do they engage with our products.
  • Drive new customer discovery – Interact with new customers to develop an understanding of their business to evaluate the product fit and work with the Product and Engineering team to close out the gaps to ensure a smooth product rollout.
  • Help launch new products – Work closely with our “early-adopters” customers to help launch new products and spend time with them to gather early feedback from them to help drive product improvements before making it generally available.
  • Champion the domain - Track industry trends and the competitive landscape as they pertain to your product and help define the product improvement strategy to constantly stay ahead of the curve.
  • Hybrid Work - This role requires 3 days of onsite work per week.
  • Travel - This position will involve up to 20% travel to meet with customers and partners.

Skills and Experience

  • Experience: 2-6 years of B2B SaaS Product Analytics experience
  • Leverage: advanced SQL skills to extract, analyze, and interpret large datasets, enabling data-driven product insights and strategic decision-making
  • Curious: You are exceptionally curious about new products and how users will respond to them.
  • Data-driven: You are a logical thinker who likes to measure things and make decisions based on that data.
  • Empathetic: You deeply understand how customers think. You can accurately predict how changes will make them feel. You enjoy creating delight.
  • Excellent Communication: You are comfortable and confident sharing your thoughts in verbal or written form. You can engage constructively in debate and discussion with your colleagues and peers.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working in the automotive industry, and specifically with different aspects of dealership management systems
  • Strong technical or business analytics background
  • Experience as a Product/Business Analyst in B2B software company
