WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR 🌟

We’re searching for a Senior Product Designer who’s ready to shape the foundation of how millions of people experience Manychat. This role is all about evolving our Design System — building the tools, patterns, and guidelines that help our teams create consistent, intuitive, and beautiful products at scale.

You’ll work closely with our Product Design Manager and be part of a cross-functional, agile team where your ideas and expertise will have real impact.

WHAT YOU'LL DO 🚀

• Contribute and be involved throughout the entire design system cycle — from component design to release.
• Create clear documentation to help the entire product group understand the rationale and the state of design decisions and progress.
• Be a design system advocate and a key touchpoint for the Design team in consultation, reviews, and documentation.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE 🎯

Design System Contribution

• Develop a deep understanding of our design system, its components, foundations and guidelines, and how it integrates with Manychat's product ecosystem.
• Maintain and improve component libraries, documentation, and design tokens to ensure consistent implementation across all platforms.
• Proactively identify design system gaps by analyzing product needs, then develop scalable solutions that balance flexibility with standardization.

Collaboration and Teamwork

• Foster collaborative relationships with designers and developers to advocate for design system principles and best practices.
• Lead cross-functional workshops to gather feedback and ensure the design system meets the needs of all product teams.
• Partner with engineering to ensure seamless implementation of design components, providing support and guidance throughout the development process.

Attitude and Impact

• Demonstrate strategic thinking by connecting design system decisions to Manychat's broader business goals and user needs.
• Take initiative in identifying emerging UI/UX trends and recommend how they might be incorporated into our design system.
• Show resilience when faced with competing priorities, making thoughtful trade-offs that balance speed, quality, and scalability.

TO SHINE IN THIS ROLE 💥

You’ll need:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in design with 5+ years of experience as a Senior Product Designer at a technology-driven organization with a proven track record of leading design system initiatives from conception to implementation.
• A compelling portfolio demonstrating design and strategic thinking in design system projects, and your ability to balance user needs with business objectives.
• Deep understanding of visual semantics, accessibility standards, and ability to establish human-centered design frameworks that can scale across product lines.
• Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills with demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams, advocate for design decisions, and align diverse perspectives.
• Advanced proficiency in Figma, including component creation, design system architecture, and optimization for team-wide adoption.

It would be great if you have:

• Experience designing easy-to-use products that simplify the workflows of complex automation processes.
• Knowledge of front-end development principles and limitations to create feasible design solutions.
• Experience designing for AI-driven interfaces, including generative AI tools and systems that leverage machine learning.
