Manychat is scaling rapidly and seeks an experienced Business Operations Senior Manager to lead transformational initiatives. This role involves owning 1-2 company-defining programs, partnering with executive leadership to build operational foundations, and elevating operational excellence. The manager will drive organizational change, manage cross-functional challenges, and ensure scalable solutions to support growth from 300 to 500+ people, aiming for $100M+ ARR.
Must Have:
  • Lead 1-2 strategic company-wide initiatives that fundamentally improve operations.
  • Design strategy, build stakeholder alignment, drive execution, and ensure sustainable adoption.
  • Manage competing stakeholder priorities, facilitate difficult decisions, and maintain momentum.
  • Collaborate closely with COO and Chief of Staff on operational challenges.
  • Apply best practices from previous scaling experiences to accelerate operational maturity.
  • Create operational systems that scale to 500+ people while preserving culture.
  • Drive adoption of new ways of working, overcoming resistance and building genuine buy-in.
  • 6-8 years in strategic operations, management consulting, or business operations roles at scaling companies.
  • Successfully led organizational initiatives that delivered measurable improvements at companies growing through similar stages (200-500+ people).
  • Experience living through hypergrowth and understanding operational challenges with rapid scaling.
  • Comfortable operating as a peer to senior leaders, with the presence to influence department heads.
  • Fluent in English.

As Senior Manager, Business Operations, you'll own 1-2 company-defining initiatives that span the entire organization, partnering closely with our COO and Chief of Staff to build the operational foundation that enables us to scale without losing our agility or culture. You'll be the operational force behind the programs that matter most—whether that's reimagining how we set goals, transforming cross-functional collaboration, or building the systems that unlock our next phase of growth.

This role is perfect for someone who's successfully driven organizational change at scaling companies, thrives on complex cross-functional challenges, and wants to establish themselves as a trusted operational leader within a high-performing environment.

Own Transformational Initiatives

  • Lead 1-2 Strategic Programs: Take full ownership of company-wide initiatives that fundamentally improve how we operate—major process redesigns, framework implementations, cross-functional capability building, or cultural transformations
  • End-to-End Accountability: Design the strategy, build stakeholder alignment, drive execution, and ensure sustainable adoption with measurable business impact
  • Navigate Organizational Complexity: Manage competing stakeholder priorities, facilitate difficult decisions, and keep momentum on initiatives that involve the entire leadership team

Partner with Executive Leadership

  • COO & Chief of Staff Partnership: Work in close collaboration with our COO and Chief of Staff on the operational challenges that require senior focus and strategic thinking
  • Bridge Builder: Facilitate alignment across functional leaders on complex operational topics

Elevate Operational Excellence

  • Bring Proven Frameworks: Apply best practices from previous scaling experiences to accelerate our operational maturity without creating unnecessary bureaucracy
  • Design Scalable Solutions: Create operational systems that we implement today but will scale to 500+ people while preserving our culture
  • Champion Change: Make transformation feel exciting rather than threatening, building genuine buy-in across teams who may be skeptical of new ways of working
