This hybrid full-time, one-year fixed-term contract position as a Payment Operations Specialist involves processing high-volume client payments, maintaining accuracy in beneficiary information, completing KYC classifications, and escalating operational issues. The role requires optimal time management and collaboration within a global team, ensuring efficient fund transfers. Candidates should have at least 6 months of work experience and strong operational skills.

Must Have

  • Processing high volume Client Payments in our inhouse back-office system and third party banking portals
  • Maintaining high accuracy and quality while inputting Client beneficiary information
  • Complete Know Your Customer (KYC) sender classifications on incoming funds and permitted country checks for our Collections and Receipts Flows
  • Identify and escalate any operational issues impacting client payments, ensuring they are resolved as quickly as possible
  • Ensure all incoming funds and outgoing payments reach our clients as efficiently as possible with no delays
  • Develop and maintain adequate knowledge of internal systems/processes and a sound understanding of external payments networks
  • Handle your time optimally, completing all tasks within SLA
  • Work as part of a global team, embodying our values of communication and collaboration
  • Minimum of 6 months of work experience or a Bachelor's Degree

Good to Have

  • 2 or more years of work experience
  • Ability to follow processes provided during training
  • Complete large volume data entry tasks with attention to detail and is able to work in a methodical manner
  • The ability to complete tasks within agreed timeframes
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment with multiple tasks and workstreams
  • Strong communication, numerate, organized, and hardworking
  • Previous payments or operational processing experience in a banking or fintech environment would be welcomed but is not crucial

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager. This is a 1 year fixed term contract. Hours will be will 9:30am - 6pm Monday to Friday. Bank holidays are also working days (you'll receive extra Bank Holiday pay)

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Associate: Minimum of 6 months of work experience or a Bachelor's Degree
